Notification

WAGES BOARD FOR THE TEA GROWING AND MANUFACTURING TRADE

It is hereby notified that the decision adopted by the Wages Board for the Tea Growing and Manufacturing Trade and
approved by the Hon. Minister of Labour as per provisions of Wages Boards Ordinance (Chapter 136) is to be varied as
depicted in the following schedule as per provision Section 29(3) of the said ordinance.

These decisions should be valid with effect from 05th March 2021.

SCHEDULE

The Part II for the Wages Board for the Tea Growing and Manufacturing Trade set out in the schedule to the Notification
Published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 9441 of 31st July 1945 as varied from time to time and last varied by the Notification
published in Gazette Extraordinary No. 1872/31 of 24 July 2014 shall be further varied by the substitution of the following
new part.

PART II

The minimum rate of daily wage for time work

i. Minimum daily wage Labour - Rs. 900.00

ii. Budgetory Relief Allowance - Rs. 100.00

It is hereby notified that the decision adopted by the Wages Board for the Rubber Growing and Manufacturing Trade and
approved by the Hon. Minister of Labour as per provisions of Wages Boards Ordinance (Chapter 136) is to be varied as
depicted in the following schedule as per provisions Section 29(3) of the said Ordinance.

These decisions should be valid with effect from 05th March 2021.
