CONSTRUCTION: Complete Cubicle consisting of Front Posts, Divider Panel and Door made of
stainless Steel in
1mm thickness with polypropylene Honey Comb Core. The edges are in solid grade compact
laminate.
Door & Post: 30mm thick. Divider: 25mm thick.

General
Before commencing any task, give careful consideration to what is or may be involved; the
extent of the plant/equipment requiring attention; how your intended activities may affect
others working in the vicinity.
Should an accident occur details must be entered in the Clients Accident Report Book and
submitted immediately to the Client it is the Client responsibility to provide a system for the
Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences.
Copies of a suitable occurrence repot form must be freely available for use. (Refer to the
British “Essentials of Health and Safety at Work” HMSO document ISBN 0118839772 for
guidance and local Government Regulations).
It is recommended that a Permit to Work system be adopted to assure the safety of all
operatives and occupants.

Before commencing work on any items of mechanical and/or electrical equipment a Permit to
Work docket signed by an appropriate authority should be obtained. On completion of the
work it should be returned for logging in the master maintenance system records.

The Permit to work system should cover the following aspect;

 To give authority to maintenance staff to commence inspection or work on plant.
 To explain in outline the approach required to carry out the work in a way that no personnel
or plant hazard to the working environment is crested.
 To co-ordinate staff requirements in relation to the maintenance procedures and operations
thus eliminating exposure of the work face to any hazard.
The system should be devised so that maintenance may be carried out safely and that no
starting or running of plant presents an environment hazard.
Correct shutting down of systems must be observed where removal of guards or housing has
taken place and no electrical work on equipment must be undertaken without satisfactory
clearance that the plant is now safe for work to proceed.

Members of the maintenance staff must carry out work within the scope of their particular
discipline and job descriptions.
Where it is necessary to provide staging, scaffolding tower and ladders to examine or carry out
the replacement of components then these must comply in all respects with the latest
legislation.

The GIBCA'S STEEL CUBICLE (STEELO SS) Complete Cubicle consisting of Front Posts,
Divider Panel and Door made of stainless Steel in 1mm thickness with polypropylene Honey
Comb Core. The edges are in solid grade compact laminate.

Door & Post: 30mm thick. Divider: 25mm thick, suitable for wet areas. which is a phenolic
resin material with sanitary grade melamine surface.

The hardware includes Hinges, Doorknob, Adjustable Foot, Coat Hook and Privacy thumb turn
locking device are of stainless steel construction. One hinge on the door is spring loaded which
will hold the door in close or open position, if the cubicle is occupied the indicator on door face
will show red color.

The thumb turn locking device is operated manually by rotating the arm in a clockwise
direction and opened by rotating anti-clockwise. In an emergency, the door may be unlocked
from outside by inserting a coin in the slot in the center of the thumb turn and rotating
clockwise.

8.0 Maintenance Procedure & Schedule-Disposal Instructions.

The cleaning of all components of the Gibca's Steel Cubicle (Steelo GS) requires only a mild
soap
solution in warm water, harsh scouring agents or any detergent containing bleach should not
be used.

The only maintenance required is an occasional lubrication of the hinges with light oil.

1. Modification information
The GIBCA'S STEEL CUBICLE (STEELO GS) installed on the project has been selected
specifically to suit the projects requirements and there is no facility for modification

2. Disposal instruction
Fire behaviour of the HPL Panels is excellent. HPL panels don’t melt, drip or explode and
retains its stability for a long time. Furnished with high chemical resistance and not
adversely affected by moisture. Panel waste can be disposed off or used just like normal
building or demolition waste. If it burned in industrial furnaces, no hazardous corrosive
gases are released.
