Oman Drilling Mud Products Co LLC (ODMP) is the pioneer in oilfield drilling chemicals manufacturing in
Oman. ODMP was established in 1984 with the purpose of supplying drilling chemicals to Petroleum
Development Oman and other drilling companies in the region. ODMP manufactures its products to the
specifications of the American Petroleum Institute (API).
ODMP imports its raw materials primarily from India and Morocco. The ore is crushed and ground at the
plant at Salalah in accordance with customer specifications. The ground powder is packed and
transported to the customer delivery locations. Our customers include PDO, Saudi Aramco, Halliburton
and Abraj Energy.
1-2-6. OMAN OIL INDUSTRY SUPPLIES & SERVICES COMPANY LLC
Oman Oil Industry Supplies & Services (OOISS) is a $100 million company and one of the larger
companies within the substantive Zubair Energy Group. OOISS was formed in 1974 and at that time was
the first Omani owned oilfield services and supply company operating in the Sultanate. Since this time

Solentis FZCO (Solentis) is a joint venture between The Zubair Corporation from Oman and VIVACHEM
FZCO from the UAE. Solentis is located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone and conveniently positioned along the

blending facility offering custom specialty chemical blending, manufacturing, packaging and storage
services. The full service operations enable Solentis to deliver custom liquid formulations of the finest

Solentis prides itself as a one stop shop offering not only custom and toll blending but also storage for

The International College of Engineering and Management (Formerly Fire Safety Engineering College) is

1-4- EXPLORATION & PRODUCTION
1-4-1. ARA Petroleum
The Zubair Corporation’s commitment to the Oil and Gas sector took an important turn into the world of
exploration and production with the inception of ARA Petroleum in 2014. This new, dynamic entrant is
developing oil & gas resources in Oman as well as abroad. The company is using the latest technologies
to ensure hydrocarbon assets are operated optimally and the recovery of oil and gas maximised. Since
inception, the company has been collaborating with The Zubair Corporation and other local entities to
maximize the in-country-value of its operations in the Sultanate and is also developing young Omani
talent under the supervision of locally and internationally trained mentors.

1-4-2. Qarat Al-Milh Petroleum

In 2016 ARA Petroleum and The Zubair Corporation established Qarat Al-Milh Petroleum to explore,
develop, and produce hydrocarbons in the PDO QSF contract area known as “The Small Fields Area". The
company was awarded a 24-year contract to develop petroleum resources within an area of 5,800
SqKm. The QSF area contains 12 oil discoveries to be developed. In addition to the discoveries Qarat al
Milh Petroleum has the exploration rights over the area and a large 3D seismic survey has been shot
adjacent to the prolific blocks 3 and 4, multiple leads and prospects has have been identified.

1-4-3. ARA Petroleum Block 44 & Block 31

In 2016 ARA Petroleum completed the 100% acquisition of Block 44 within Oman and is now the
operator producing gas & condensates. In 2017, ARA Petroleum was awarded a contract to develop
petroleum resources in the larger Block 31, which lies adjacent to Block 44 in the northern interior of the
sultanate. Block 31 covers an 8,526 km2 area and straddles the Hajar Mountains, and is located directly
north of some of Oman’s largest oil fields.

In 2016, The Zubair Corporation acquired slightly less than a 30% stake in Aminex PLC, an oil company
that explores for and produces hydrocarbons primarily in Tanzania. Aminex PLC is a producing, upstream
oil and gas company listed on the London & Irish Stock Exchanges (AEX).
