Sub : State Level Painting Competition under National Campaign on

Energy Conservation on 14th Nov, 2010

Dear Principal,

We are thankful to your school for organizing the painting competition under
National Campaign on Energy Conservation and forwarding us the best selected
paintings from your school. All the students who have participated in the above
competition from your school shall be getting a certificate of participation.

50 best entries out of paintings received from various schools have been shortlisted
and I am pleased to inform you that Vrinda Harmilapi IV of your school has been
selected for On-spot State level painting competition to be held on 14th Nov.
2010 (Sunday) being organized by Power Finance Corporation on behalf of
Government of India.

The details of the events are as under :

The student should reach the venue by 8.30 AM

The student should bring a letter signed by the school authority with their
photograph duly attested and pasted on the letter head of the school as proof of
identify or School Identity Card and a spare passport size photograph. It may
be mentioned that without the proof of identity, the students shall not be allowed to
participate in the competition. The responsibility of bringing the student to the
venue and picking up after the competition shall be of parents/guardian. Since the
prize distribution is likely to be held in the afternoon, the student shall be free
only by 5.30 p.m.

Topic for the State Level Competition

Students will have option to choose any of the following topics for the On-spot State
level painting competition to be held on 14th November, 2010 :

i) Buy Energy Star labeled appliances

ii) Energy efficiency is a journey, not a destination
iii) Save energy, save our future

Drawing Board and drawing papers will be provided by Power Finance Corporation
to the students. However any other items required by the students like drawing
clamps/ pins, colour pencils, crayons, eraser, pen etc. shall be brought by
the students themselves.

You are cordially invited to attend the Prize Distribution Function to be held on the
same day at 2.30 PM onwards and encourage the students.
