Guidelines for all Challenges:

● Only two people can be connected by a single line.
● You can be connected to multiple people at the same
time via multiple lines.
Challenge #1:
Create a network where people at each letter can speak directly to everyone else
at the other letters.
Insert as many lines as needed

Guideline #1:
Lines cost money, so try to use the least number of lines
possible
Challenge #2:

Guideline #2:
Lines can be cut, which might disconnect people from the
network
Challenge #3:
Create a network that keeps everyone connected even if one of the lines is cut
Insert as many lines as needed

Guideline #3:
Direct Connections are faster than long paths with indirect
connections
Challenge #4:
Create a network that you feel balances all 3 guidelines
Insert as many lines as needed

Guideline #3:

Prompt:

Thinking about our 3 guidelines, what is a strength of the network you

created?
● Answer: The strength of the network created as that regardless of if anything is cut, all networks
still have ways to get to any other letter. There is also a few extra lines used for purposes such as
shortening distances or making the network more secure, but not a excessive amount of lines like
the first network we created.

What is a weakness for the network you created?

● Answer: The weakness of this network is that while the network does not
use an excessive amount of lines, there are still a lot of lines for
something that isn't necessarily the fastest network for some letters.
