2. PRESENTACIÓN

Ahora vamos a profundizar en el uso de los “cuantificadores” en inglés. No obstante, iniciaremos con una
breve actividad de repaso general.

QUANTIFIERS

Indican la cantidad de un sustantivo. Son repuestas a la pregunta “¿Cuántos?”. Al igual que los artículos, los
cuantificadores definen a un sustantivo y siempre están situados antes del mismo. Algunos se pueden usar
sólo con sustantivos contables, otros, sólo con sustantivos incontables y otros, con ambos.

Sustantivos (NOUNS):

1. Sustantivos contables (notebooks, flowers, people, apples, cars, books…boxes, bottles, cans, litters)
2. Sustantivos no contables (water, sand, air, rice, love, sugar, hair, bread)
