Purpose
Seesaw is a platform that “creates a powerful learning loop between students, teachers, and families”
1. Teachers can assign activities and homework, then keep track of what students are turning in. They can give direct and personalized
feedback to individual students, and send out family announcements and weekly planners...
2. Students only see assignments that are assigned to them, and only see what they turn in. It’s like a personalized journal for each one
of the students. Students can share pictures, videos of anything they find interesting on the class blog (as long as their post is
approved by the teacher!). It is a great way for them to work on their technology skills.
3. Parents can keep track of what their children are working on, and see if they have missing assignments. They can also communicate
via private message with the teacher. And there’s an app!
Interesting features:
● Any text written in Seesaw (like notes, captions, comments, announcements, or messages) can be translated in over 55 languages
at the tap of a button by both teachers and families.
