Lesson Simplifications and Extensions

Lesson 1 For a gifted student, I will provide them with a more complex vocabulary
list that relates to Isaac Newton's Laws of Motion.
For a student with visual impairments, I will have them come to the
front of the room to watch the video and demonstration.
For a student with ADHD, I will have them pass out the vocabulary
activity as well as act as a “teachers helper” during the friction
demonstration.

Lesson 2 For a gifted student, I will provide them with a more complex vocabulary
list that relates to Isaac Newton's Laws of Motion.
For a student with visual impairments, I will have them come to the
front of the room to watch the video and demonstration.
For a student with ADHD, I will have them pass out the push or pull
activity, so they have an opportunity to take a break and walk around
the room.

break in between the different seat work.

Lesson 6 For students with an IEP, students will be able to pick certain materials
to build their catapult as well as receive extra help when building their
catapults.
Lesson 7 For students with an IEP, students will be able to pick certain materials
to build their catapult as well as receive extra help when building their
catapults.
Lesson 8 For students with an IEP, students will be able to pick certain materials
to build their catapult as well as receive extra help when building their
catapults.
Lesson 9 I will read the test to all of the students, so they have a clear
understanding of the question.
