RESOLUTION

A resolution creating a partnership between the DEPARTMENT OF

ENVIRONMENT AND NATIONAL RESOURCES (DENR), represented by it Regional
Director CALABARZON _______________, and the PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE,
a national government agency, created in accordance with law, represented by
PLTCOL SERAFIN F PETALIO II, incumbent Provincial Director, Laguna Police
Provincial Office.

WHEREAS, the DENR and PNP are fully cognizant of the need to undertake
forest land use planning as an integral activity of comprehensive land use planning to
determine the optimum and balanced use of natural resources to support local, regional
and national growth and development.

WHEREAS, the DENR and PNP along with the concerned community
stakeholders considers the need for good environmental governance through
participatory planning of the appropriate use and distribution of the natural resources
including the forest and forest lands;

NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the foregoing premises, a

partnership is hereby created by herein parties to be known as Samahang Pulis
Laguna, Kapanalig Mo at Makakalikasan (SPLaKaM).

WHEREAS, The DENR shall organized a team that will conduct survey of the
proposed ten (10) hectares at Barangay Tala, Rizal, Laguna.

WHEREAS, the DENR shall assist the team during the conduct of survey.

WHEREAS, the DENR shall provide necessary technical assistance.

WHEREAS, the DENR shall conduct evaluation and assessment of the

proposed Samahang Pulis Laguna, Kapanalig Mo at Makakalikasan (SPLaKaM) Forest
Park.

WHEREAS, the PNP shall provide necessary security at the SPLaKaM Forest
Park.

SO RESOLVED.
