May I signify my interest to apply for the Science Research Assistant position on
your DOST-PCAARRD funded project “Establishment of the DOST-PCAARRD-
MMSU Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubation”. My eagerness to be in the
academe and public institutions and my passion to do research motivated me to
apply for the said position.

I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration major in Business

Economics at Central Luzon State University. Currently, I am enrolled at the MMSU
–Graduate School with the degree Master of Arts in Public Administration. During my
college days, my curiosity on the different topics listed below inspired me to take
various researches such as:

1. An Analysis on the Relationship of Inflation and Gross Domestic Product in

the Philippines
2. The Impact of Government Expenditure to Economic Growth: Evidence from
Agricultural Sector
3. Awareness and Attitude of CLSU Freshmen on Article 295 Section 4-F of the

4. The Local Fiscal Office Administration and Management of the Municipality of
Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija

Right now, I am currently working as Business Continuity and Risk Management

Officer at Venvi Agro-industrial Ventures Corporation. In my present position, I
monitor possible risks of each department and prevent its occurrence, investigate
issues encountered by every department by using root cause analysis/fishbone
diagram and process network analysis, and also implement business continuity and
disaster recovery strategies and solutions to ensure the organization’s ability to
effectively respond to and protect its business interests.

Over the last year, I have built an excellent working relationship with my colleagues
and improved my communication and leadership skills, which are vital in finding
success in doing research. I believe that the experience and knowledge I obtained at
CLSU, in the field (private sector), and my takeaways at the MMSU – Graduate
School have prepared me for the position that I am applying for.
