The bar charts give information about the spending on food and other goods in three different

The given bar charts indicate the amount of money that people in 3 countries in Europe,

namely France, Germany and England, spent on food and other products in 1998 and 2008.

It is clear that there were differeces in the percentage of budget spent on two categories by

each countrySURVEYED. Additionally, THEexpenditure on food and other goods in germany,

france and england all climbed.

In terms of food, the proportion of money spent on this item in france stood at 15%, and this

figure significantly increased to exactly 40% in 2008, while spending on food in

germanyengland also gradually rose by 10% to 15%. Meanwhile, there was a slight climb of

25% to 30% in the rate of income spent on food in germany.=>In Germany, there was a mild

difference of 5% between the percentages of income allotted to food commodities in 1998,

with 25%, and 2008, with 30%. 

In terms of other goods, in 1998, people in england spent the leastAMOUNT OFmoney on this

category, at around 7% while the figure for germany was sharply=> CONSIDERABLYhigher, at

more than 25%, compared to only less than 10% of france. The year 2008 withnessed rapid

increases to 35% and 40% in the proportion of spending on other goods in england and france

respectively. Finally, the percatage of expenditure on this item in germany was insignificantly

rose to below 25%.
