Dispatched to the Quick Road address in regards to a missing person. Upon arrival
spoke with KEN CHRISTENSEN and his mother-in-law, ANN HEWETT, who related the following.
Earlier this morning KEN and his wife, JANICE, went to the gym to work out together
at which time MR. CHRISTENSEN went on to his place of employment and MRS. CHRISTENSEN
was to return to the residence. At approximately 0930 hours this morning MRS. HEWITT
received a phone call from her daughter stating that she, JANICE CHRISTENSEN, was
going to go for a run and that she wished her mother to meet her at the Quick Road
address about 1300 hours so they could go shopping together.
MRS. HEWITT states that she arrived at the Quick Road address shortly before 1300 hours
and found that the car her daughter drives was gone and no one was at the residence.
After waiting about an hour she returned to her residence in Aurora, called the Quick
Road address approximately every fifteen minutes until she felt it was time for MR.
CHRISTENSEN to return from work at which time she met him at the house.
MR. CHRISTENSEN states that it appears to him as if his wife had left everything in
the shape she normally does when she goes running. Her purse, wallet, and all personal
affects are at the residence. The only thing missing is her running clothes and their
orange 1983 Toyota Tercel, 866 NBY.
MR. CHRISTENSEN states they are having no martial problems that would make his wife
leave on her own accord. He denies any medical or mental problems on the part of
his wife.
MRS. HEWITT was present during the interview with MR. CHRISTENSEN and she found no
fault with any of the statements he made.
