Instructions:

The students would have to go online, choose one of the topics available on the following
websites or on any other website that they find interesting. They then have to choose one of the
following areas to work on:

Deliverables:
The projects should include:
1- A full description of the project /background
2- Links to the websites and videos they accessed
3- Images and pictures reflecting aspects of the topic they chose to work on (pictures of
cities, food, materials, experiments, etc)
4- Any other materials the students deem interesting
They would arrange to present their works and projects according to the criteria set by the
Mawhiba Lead Professional, Mr. Khalid Dewidar.

Suggested topics: (only as a reference but students can choose any other topic that they find
interesting)

1 Science:
 The Dinosaurs
 Wild and Domestic animals,
 Reptiles, The human body and its mysteries
 The universe and the planetary system
 Plants and flowers from around the world
 Bizarre discoveries

2 Geography: (Students can imagine they went on vacation to one of their favorite destinations
and report all the facts and figures they could get about the cities, the people, the culture, etc…)
 Cities around the world
 Exotic destinations
 Continents and touristic destinations
 Peoples of the world
 Life in the desert
 Life in the rainy forests

3 Astronomy
 Locating and tracking stars
 Comets and planets
 Exploratory expeditions

4 History
 Ancient civilizations
 The Islamic empire
 The pyramids
 The Mayan civilizations

5 Inventors / explorers and their inventions or explorations


 Avicenna
 Abbas ibn Furnas
 Galileo
 The Wright brothers
 Etc…

NB. Students may choose other topics that really interest them and make them happy
sharing their knowledge and passion about them with their friends.
