    ASSIGNMENT 3: CALCULATION OF NUMBER OF LIFTS FOR TALL BUILDING


    Students I divided the assignment in two parts for your clear understanding.
     You need to calculate number of lift users as per the method told you in the class twice.
    You will calculate lift users against either Net rentable area or Gross floor area of your
    designed tall structure. Kindly add sketch of your plan and tentative calculation of area as
    well.

     After calculating the number of lift users you need to decide on number of lifts and how
    many banks of lift you will provide? What system of lifts (zoning/others) you opt to
    minimize the core area? The speed and capacity of lifts. It will be appreciative of you if
    you will specify the make of lifts as well. (You can take data from elevator manufacturer
    website)
