EXCERPTS FROM THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF BARANGAY COUNCIL AND

BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COUNCIL (BADAC) DECLARING BARANGAY
CAMAMBUGAN, SANTA BARBARA, ILOILO AS DRUG- CLEARED BARANGAY HELD AT
BARANGAY HALL OF BARANGAY CAMAMBUGAN ON APRIL 08, 2018 AT 3PM.

RESOLUTION NO. 2018-02

WHEREAS, Pursuant to Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local
Government Code of 1991 the government at the level of the Barangay is tasked to
promote the general welfare of its constituent;

WHEREAS, in line thereto the Barangay Anti- Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) had been
created to address the problem in illegal drugs in the community;

WHEREAS, the Dangerous Drugs Board mandates the conduct of Barangay Drug Clearing
Operation of Drug Unaffected Barangays had been conducted in three (3) phase; a.) Pre-
Operation b.) Operation and c.) Post Operation Phase;

WHEREAS, the above declaration was consistent with the compliance in all the
parameters set forth for the declaration that this Barangay Camambugan is a “DRUG
CLEARED” Barangay;

WHEREAS, Section 3, DDB Resolution No. 3 (Parameters for declaring “Drug Cleared”
status of Unaffected Barangay);
a. ) Non-availability of drug supply.
b. ) Absence of clandestine drug warehouse, chemical warehouse and marijuana
cultivation.
c. ) Absence of drug den, dive or resort.
d. ) Absence of drug user/ dependent.
e. ) Absence of coddle, protector and financier.

WHEREFORE , be it resolved as it is hereby resolved by the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse

Council (BADAC) of Barangay Camambugan duly assembled that Barangay Camambugan
is hereby declared “Drug Cleared” effective this date April 08, 2018.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be forwarded to the office of the
Regional Director, Police Regional Office 6, Camp Martin T. Delgado, Iloilo City.
UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED this 8th of April, 2018.
