COMFORT FIRST AND FOREMOST

INTELLIGENT SHAPING
Slender and slim, the seat is modelled to provide
the patient with secure yet comfortable anatomical
support throughout the operation, thus minimising
any tendency to move around. The backrest is equally
slender so that the dentist can lower the chair while
maintaining the correct posture alongside the patient.
Moreover, special backrest shaping ensures the
patient access zone is free from parts that might
hinder the work of either dentist or assistant. To enhance
operating area access even further the patient chair armrest
can be rotated forwards 180°.

Shoulder and hip support areas are gently curved to

reduce patient movement and help him/her settle into
as comfortable a position as possible during surgery.
To ensure a relaxed position is maintained for longer,
lumbar support has been incorporated into the backrest.

OPTIMAL WORKING POSITION

The Classe R7 patient chair also features extensive
vertical travel, allowing the patient to be positioned
at exactly the right height whatever the task at hand.
From a maximum above-floor height of 82 cm to a
minimum of 38 cm, both dentist and assistant can
carry out their work easily and hindrance-free. Even
with the chair lowered, slender backrest profiling ensures
work is carried out comfortably, without legs having
to be positioned awkwardly due to lack of space. All this
minimises stress and physical tiredness for both dentist
and assistant – from the start of the working day to
the end.

PNEUMATIC HEADREST
Positioning of the optional pneumatic headrest is
both precise and immediate. Thanks to the triple-joint
mechanism all the dentist has to do is press a key on
the lower side of the headrest to obtain, without any
mechanical effort whatsoever, optimal positioning of

In its complete version, with unit body, dentist’s module and assistant’s
module, the Classe R7 is an integrated treatment centre that offers dental
staff the freedom to operate as naturally as possible.
In addition to extraordinary ergonomics and versatility, the Classe R7 can,
in just a few quick moves, be converted from a right-handed dental unit to
a left-handed one.
First the user switches the unit body and assistant’s module from right to left.
Then, via a simple rotation movement, the dentist’s module is positioned on
the opposite side of the patient chair.

To make instrument changeovers easier a system of rapid fittings has been
incorporated on both the dentist’s and assistant’s module.
BRUSHLESS MICROMOTORS
A selection of instruments developed to provide the dentist with a complete
micromotor range. All perfectly integrated with the dental unit electronics and
comprehensive memory/function control.
The new Anthos micromotors are some of the lightest and most compact
instruments in their class. Vibration free and virtually silent thanks to brushless
technology, they are highly reliable and require almost no maintenance.
i-MMs
Built using cutting-edge technology, super-light (85 g) and ergonomic with LED lighting,
the i-MMs covers all your conservative, prosthetic and endodontic dentistry needs.
Outstanding control of speed from 100 to 40,000 rpm and torque, which reaches an
exceptional 4 Ncm. Auto-reverse and auto-forward. Swivel coupling (320°), ISO 3964-compliant.
The i-MMs micromotor can be sterilised in an autoclave at up to 135 °C.
i-MMr
Exceptionally compact micromotors (22 x 34 mm), ideal for conservative and prosthetic

PROGRESSIVE SCAN
The Progressive Scan digital technology on the C-U2
and C-U2 PRO gives crisp, clear freeze-frame images
without any analogue conversion of the video signal.
The freeze-frame function is operated via the foot control
or directly from the handpiece via the Touch Sensitive
key. In both cases the captured image is without blur or
vibration.
C-U2
Lightweight and manageable, the C-U2 has the highest
lighting rating in its category. Luminosity is automatically
adjusted by a microprocessor inside the handpiece and no
manual focussing is required. The wide-angle view is partially
retroflexed for easy access to distal and posterior tooth areas
where a standard 90° view would be penalised.
C-U2 PRO
PRO optics provides images via three different focal adjustments.
Macro Close-Up enhances the perception of the tiniest details.
Intra-oral Depth of Focus allows for complete inspection of the oral
cavity. Extra-oral position allows for the easy capture of a smile, to
add to patient records. No matter which of the 3 positions is selected,
the user benefits from clear images, the most powerful patient-oriented

MEDICAL VIEW 15”
Flat-screen monitor with PC and video inputs. Complies with EC Directive 93/42, the
screen is made of optical glass with sealed edges to prevent any infiltration of liquids.
NEW INTEGRATED X-RAY SENSOR
With the integration of the ZEN-X sensor, Anthos offers an
additional multimedia instrument for effective, direct communication.
Thanks to the intraoral sensor, it is now possible to immediately
view an X-ray image on the LCD unit. Screen integration and
the immediate availability of diagnostic data enhance the medical
team efficiency, preventing down time and interruptions in the
workflow.
ZEN-X
The new ZEN-X X-ray sensor with rounded edges is handily situated
on the dentist’s module. This gives readily available precision
diagnostics and - thanks to careful shaping that ensures smooth
adaptation to the anatomy - excellent comfort. Available in 2 sizes,
the sensor is solid and compact thanks to rear lead connection and
sealing of the lining, which ensures outstanding protection of the sensor.
With reduced overall volume inside the oral cavity, the sensor provides
precise, quickly-usable images.
THE POWER OF TECHNOLOGY
Direct communication systems reassure and motivate the patient. Multimedia communication, in fact, is an effective tool
for illustrating the treatment plan and attaining the patient’s informed consent.
Classe R7 offers an outstanding multimedia option, a communication system fully integrated with the dental unit; this
allows the dentist to carefully document each stage of the work and, over time, build up a medical record complete with
imagery and past data.

ESSENTIAL QUALITY

WITH ASSISTANT’S MODULE

The individual patient chair can be completed with
the addition of the assistant’s module, which
houses two cannulae and two instruments. Arm
attachment and cannula connection are located on
the patient chair base beneath the backrest: this
point is easily accessible and has been chosen to
smooth the switchover from right to left-hand module.
A centralised suction valve and two cannulae must
be provided.

OPERATING LIGHT AND MONITOR

The operating light and multimedia monitor can
be incorporated on the dental unit. In this event,
right-hand or left-hand versions of the Classe R7 can
be supplied; however, once installed this choice is
no longer modifiable.
To ensure the Classe R7 remains an ambidextrous
treatment centre with maximum flexibility, two
ceiling-mounted versions of the Venus Plus are
available: fixed (CL) and sliding on guide rail
(TML).

A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT
The Classe R7 is available as an individual patient chair on which an operating light and/or 15”
flat-screen LCD monitor can be installed. These combinations are highly suitable for dental
surgeries where a clean, essential workplace is required. For example, dental surgeons will
benefit from an optimally-shaped patient chair that is tough yet offers gentle, precision movement.
Via the foot control or keypad (on both sides of the seat), the dentist can control patient chair
movement, save new positions or recall previously made ones.
