Reflection No. 8: The Founder

Starting up a business is not easy as it seems to be. It takes a lot of wise
decision, strategies, passion, efforts, hard work and especially patience. Not all
business man succeed on their business and it is because they lack those things
besides, a lot of competitors are everywhere around that is why it is hard to maintain
your business at the top. In spite of the fact that many business have failed, many have
succeeded too and it is because of their amazing advancement, innovation and proper
management.
The movie entitled ‘The Founder’ featured the story of the creation of Mcdonald’s
fast-food restaurant chain. It all started when Ray Kroc bumped into Mcdonald when he
went to California to see the large numbers of milkshake mixers. Mcdonald that time is a
popular walk-up restaurant with fast service, high quality food and family-friendly
atmosphere. Kroc became amazed and curious on how that restaurant runs and meet
the two Mcdonald brothers and decided to franchise their restaurant. At first the brothers
were hesitant because they have tried it before and it failed but they give it another try
with Kroc. At first it was not that successful but as time goes by and with the proper
management and techniques of Kroc, it became successful until the time when Kroc
have finally took and own the Mcdonald.
