Script for Project speech

Slide 1: Intro
Hi everyone. Welcome to our presentation. I am __________, the presenter from
the group. Today we will bring to you a speech about the current project’s topic.
Slide 2: Topic reveal
It is “The dream city”, comes out from our imagination, the best thing ever. I hope
the speech will be interesting to you.
Slide 3: Table of contents
Before we head straight to the core, let’s take a glance at the table of contents.
In today's presentation, we will talk about 5 aspects of the topic.
First, introduce the type of the city, define its true meaning, and promote its
benefits.
Next, it will be details related to geographical features, location, size, nature, and
things like that.
Moreover, we will go deeper into the inner structure, and illustrate how it works.
Besides, we will talk about how people live there.
Finally, we will summarize everything then put an end to the speech.
Slide 4: Scenario
When we talk about our dream city in the future, most people think it will be
romantic, full of ease, and enjoyable. But we don’t have the same idea.
Imagine, the world is kinda near its end. We have damaged the ecological balance,
make it more likely for catastrophe to take place. Natural materials are being
consumed at an alarming rate, predicted to disappear soon. Humans never satisfy,
and they will fight to the end for what they want, trigger the World War as the
result. The scenario that the Earth will end all lives on it is possible to happen.
Slide 5: Introduce the idea
So what can we do to survive and restrain the apocalypse? How can we keep our
lives stay longer? It’s easy, our home is not safe enough. The thing we should do is
building Nomadic Cities.
Slide 6: Definition
To make that word easy to understand, we simply think like this:
“Nomadic” is to move living place according to the state of the resource or food
supply.
Then, a Nomadic city is a mobile metropolis that moves itself to a place where
more resources are available.
A city on wheels, to say.
Slide 7: Advantages
The mentioned one has certain benefits. It can move to places where more
resources can be found. If the current area is in danger, we can move to a safer
one. We can make use of cutting-edge technologies to improve our living.
A perfect choice for future housing.
Slide 8: Geographical features
Now let’s find out what truly those blocks of steel are.
Its location depends on the situation: If that area can keep people alive, it’ll be
chosen to settle down, it should be reasonably flat, has calm weather, and rich in
resources.
Its size is not limited. The stronger the framework is, the bigger the city can be.
Smaller cities can assemble to form a complete country. However, they can also
function independently.
Slide 9: Geographical features 2
About the population, the average number should be 5000 people per square
kilometers. Due to crowded density, Dwellers are expected to live in skyscrapers
that possess more rooms.
To talk about the natural condition, there’s a stable water source, ore that we can
mine, no significant pollution, nice weather. They should be enough to let us live
comfortably.
Slide 10: Infrastructure
These dream cities have advanced technology applied in many fields, including:
Transportation
Energy generator
Waste processor
Slide 11: Illustration
Here are some images to help you figure out what these things are.
First, this is a part of a road, enlightened by several bulb sticks. This built-in road
system is divided into multiple lanes and layers to carry more flows of vehicles.
The flat texture ensures that cars can remain its highest speed.
Next, those two pictures describe how the energy system works. Since dangerous
sources of power, such as nuclear fusion or extraction of complex ore, possess a
risk of explosion. To keep the system stay maintained, a control center is set up,
supervise the whole process, make sure that no problem is left behind.
Finally, large storage for unused resources and untreated waste. This waste will be
disposed safely by special machines as soon as possible. Old devices will be
recycled and reused to save materials at the maximum rate.
Slide 12: Human life
Our dream city should be a nice place to live in, have life-supporting services that
benefit us.
About healthcare, the nomadic cities aim to provide the best medical care to their
resident, ensure that everyone stays strong to survive in the harsh world. We
believe that human health decides how efficient we work, how happy we are, and
how we enjoy our life.
Slide 13: Education
Despite the miserable background, people still have to learn new things.
To save space, schools are not built. Instead, learners take online courses from
home, use writing tablets, and communicate with co-learners through a network.
The education program will focus on science subjects such as Mathematics,
Physics, or Chemistry.
Slide 14: Jobs
About job distribution in the future, it will be very different from the present.
Works will still be provided equally, but there will be 4 leading ones:
Messengers: Just like a navigator, they will observe the situation, report back to
the basement.
Explorers: They will find a new living place, look for new lands.
Researchers: They will develop new technology, contribute to other activities.
Doctors: They will provide healthcare to everyone.
Slide 15: Summary
We told you everything you should know about our dream city.
In short, they are cities on wheels that can move to a better place.
Its geological features depend on the location, but in most cases, it should be easy
to live on.
The structure makes the most of the area, uses advanced technology for
construction.
People can live there safely and comfortably, be benefited by modern things.
To conclude, they are useful and credible, which makes it worth building them in
the near future. I believe they have a high chance to be built soonly.
Slide 16: End
That’s the end of our slideshow, thanks for listening. Please feel free to ask me any
questions.
