Nutri Deli Shack is a food business that seeks to excellently provide and

serve customers a product that is budget-worthy and delicious.

Moreover, not only is the product delicious but it is nutritious as well

since it is filled with different kinds of vegetables innovated for the

customers to enjoy. The product has its own unique form and taste that

makes it different from other usual snack. Surely, this will invite

customers’ attention. The product can be ordered through direct

interaction with the sellers or through online.

The business is located at the Babag 1 Lapu-Lapu City, the very prime

area of Babag National High School.

Source of Funds

The start up cost of Php 599,907 will be financed by the proponents of

the business. This voluntary act of investing will be done in order to

avoid additional charges on the business such as interest expense. Each

partner will have the same amount of contributions. The capitalist

partner, general partner, unlimited partner, and the limited partner will

contribute Php 149,976.75 This will be done for the purpose of covering

the expenses of starting up the business. In this way, risks in generating

income for the business will lessen since the start up cost of Nutri deli

shack is not borrowed or loaned.

BUSINESS MODEL

In entering into business, one must decide on what type of business

organization will be used. The Nutri Deli Shack Company decided to

venture into a partnership form of business. Each partner will contribute

money, skills and other resources and share profit and loss in

accordance with the terms of the partnership agreement. Each member

is personally liable for the entire amount of any business-related

obligations. We, as members have the general liability for all the

partnership debt. We chose the General Liability which pertains to

partners having an equal amount of share in investing capital, work, and

income. We are obliged to invest and spend same amount of money. As

for the debts, we are responsible to also pay equal amount of money. In

every business there must be a head and subordinates. Our

organizational structure is composed of the general partner, industrialist

partner, limited partner and unlimited partner. This is owned and

managed by the five members. Employee and employers can get

benefits from this company with regards to benefits and wages. The

partners decided to apply the government mandated minimum wage of

P386 for the production workers. For the Human Resource Manager

P20,020.00 monthly, for Cashier P13,000 monthly and General Manager

P52,000.00 monthly. The employees will also be receiving additional

benefits such as a mandated 13 month pay at the end of the year.

Furthermore, the partners will give rewards to employees who have

done a good performance.

BUSINESS AND PRODUCT POSITION

The Dandansoy Food Station shares the biggest part in the market for

they are known for their exotic product and average price followed by

the MES Bakeshop Stall which has a high quality product with its average

price, and then the Babag National Highschool Canteen Camote Fries

stall which offers high quality product and high price. By this figure, our

company is planning to position our business in the market between the

a nutritious and delicious high quality snack that will suit the taste of

everyone and has a lower price in which everyone can afford to buy.

Nutri Deli Shack Company is innovative in a way of creating a healthy

business environment and meeting the customers’ needs. So, we adjust

constantly to the environment and invest to keep ahead. We also take

adjustments that is made by reducing the value of inputs and increasing

the value of outputs. Then we can get an increasing productivity. We

would do it constantly to make our investors, staff or environment

choose our product. Also we would spend more time and effort to aim

our goals and to get a higher income and profit. We also are open for

business orientation and training as to improve the efficiency and

productivity of the employees and the partners.

As members of this business we contribute an amount of money for the

canvassing and buying of our resources and equipment. Our company

also has a supplier of equipment which is essential for the production

supplier can help the business by offering us appropriate pricing, quality,

reliability, technological breakthrough and knowledge of industry trends.

The suppliers help us by providing the ingredients, appliances, or

equipment we need. We and our suppliers conduct inventories once

every month to know the number, efficiency and effectiveness of the

resources.

In the Philippines, Malnutrition is one of the common and major

problems that the Filipinos are facing. In fact, Save the Children

Foundation opened that one out of 3 children 5 years old and below is

malnourished. Furthermore, it is stated that many families, including the

poor, might have access to food, but these families are not eating right

because parents lack basic knowledge on proper nutrition (CNN

Philippines, 2017). Due to this, the Department of Education ordered the

removal of foods and drinks that were deemed unhealthy from

respective cafeterias. Despite this, malnutrition still exists. In order to

help lessen the cases of this prevailing problem, Nutri Deli Shack was

established. Its vision is to become known as a people and environment-

oriented business in the food line industry, to sustain loyal customers

and establish additional branches in the market nationwide. In order to

achieve this, the company will bring convenience to customers by

providing quality nutritious products and excellent service. The

company’s product, Nutri Sweet Camote is set to penetrate the target

market which is Babag, Lapu-Lapu City. Moreover, In order to make sure

that the business is productive, the company hires competent and

skillful H.R and staffs who are able to cope up with the trends and

pursue innovation to outperform competitors. The company also applied

the 7 P's namely people, process, packaging, price, product, promotion

and place. With this, the company was able to come up with the best

alternatives that are beneficial in achieving overall productivity and

competence.

from those stores which existed ahead of ours.

Camote topped and filled with Malunggay. As for our supply, the making

as well are easy to buy because our location is quite near to the city’s

market.

MARKER FORECAST

In this type of business, there will surely be growth and progress. People

in all gender and interests will be compelled to buy our product because

we will be innovating and adding twists to it so the consumers especially

the students will get more interested with it. We will add more

vegetable and fruit fillings to our main product. Not only that, we will

come up with another products closely associated to our main one in

terms of ingredients and nutrients. We are certain that we will have

more and more customers in the next years because the competency,

efficiency and capability of our business will increase. The scope of our

entrant in the market, we have 10% market share fitting for our

Our main product is comprised of an assortment of vegetables. It is

called the Nutri Sweet Camote; a nutritious snack made up of Camote

that has a filling of different variance which are malunggay (horse radish)

and peanut. Camote is one of the best choices of snack for it is an

excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C. Additionally, it is a good source

of potassium, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2 and phosphorus. These fillings, as

well, contain different nutrients that will surely contribute to our

customer’s health. The Malunggay, also known as the Miracle Tree, is a

multipurpose plant, as the leaves, pods and all other parts can be

utilized. It is a powerhouse of nutritional value. The peanut, as well, is

abundant in the vitamins niacin, folate and Vitamin E. Also, we have

added chocolate syrup on top of our product, the Nutri Sweet Camote to

add another flavor to its taste.

The product is served at the counter, for take-out and as street snacks.

We also take orders online, by phone, or at our location (exclusive in

SIZE OF THE BUSINESS

Nutri Deli Shack is a small business that has an allotted area of 50 square

meters, a two-storey building that is located and operating at the very

prime area of Babag National High School. The first floor of the building

functions as the production and selling area while the second floor

serves as the office of the business wherein the management meet and

meetings are held. The business can accommodate a maximum of 1500

customers a day. The target customers of the business are the students

of both Babag Elementary and National High School as well as the

residents of Babag.

accordance with the terms of the partnership agreement. The partners

choose this type of business ownership because it is easy to operate and

it offers flexibility of action in decision making.

LIABILITY OF THE OWNER

If you own a business, you may have thought about liability issues. Each

member of the business partnership is personally liable for the entire

amount of any business related obligations. In general speaking, we as

partners of the business partnership have the general liability for all

partnerships debt. As business owners, we are all responsible in

controlling the day to day management of the business in order to

protect it from the worst case scenarios. We chose the General Liability

which pertains to equilibrium of the partners in terms of capital, work,

and income. We are obliged to invest and spend same amount of

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE

Nutri Deli Shack Company is open 8 hours every day from 8:00 AM –

5:00 PM. However, our operation will start at 6:00 AM and end until

7:00 PM. We assure that our customers will be satisfied with our

product and service given. Before we open the store, we allotted 1 hour

for the preparation. That includes cleaning the area, preparing all the

materials needed, and preparing the food products to be sold to the

customers. These will be done by the employees who are mandated to

arrive before or exactly 6:00 AM to start the operation. At exactly 12

noon, the employees, alternately, will proceed to taking their meals for

only 30 minutes and after their meal they will start the making of the

product which is the second batch. The store will close at exactly 5:00

PM and thus, two hours after, employees will dismissed. Thus, 2 hour is

allotted for the cleaning and closing the store.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Production process refers to the process of transforming a product from

a raw material into a finished one by means of manual labor or

machinery for it to be sold to the customers. Moreover, production

certainly depends on the type and nature of your proposed business.

*Prepare all the needed materials, equipment and ingredients.

*Boil the peanut and the potato with water.

*Put the condense milk in a bowl.

*Slice the potato into small pieces.

*Peel the potato and mix it with the peanut, together with the condense

milk. *Mixed the ingredients with malunggay.

*Wrap the mixed ingredients with the wonton wrapper.

*Steam it by the use of steamer.

*Top it with chocolate syrup.

*Serve it with delight.

The Nutri Deli Shack Company will invest for tables and chairs which are

important for the production and for the accommodation of the

customers. We also are going to invest for a refrigerator to preserve our

ingredients and keep them from spoiling. We also need to have stove,

mortar and pestle and tray for the quick production and cooking of our

products. We also will invest for wall fans to keep the coolness in our

working area. Lastly, we will invest for a fire extinguisher to ensure that

our company is quick to resolve unexpected matters/disturbances like

fire.
