BPOC RESOLUTION NO. 3

Series of 2019

A RESOLUTION ENDORSING TO SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF ARTACHO,

BAUTISTA, PANGASINAN THE NO PARKING POLICY ALONG BARANGAY ROAD
JURISDICTION AS AN APPROACH IN IMPROVING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ROAD
CLEARING IN BARANGAY.

Whereas, DILG MC No. 2019-121 subject to Presidential directive during the 2019 4 th State
of the Nation Address of the President to clear roads of illegal structures and constructions,
which also addressed to all Punong Barangay;

Whereas, pursuant to DILG MC No. 2015-130 dated November 3, 2015 subject to

Guidelines on the Functions of the Peace and Order Councils, Barangay Peace and Order
Committee and Peace and Order Council Secretariat states that one of the function of the
said committee is to recommend measures to improve or enhance peace and order and
public safety in the community;

Whereas, upon community observation, the committee perceives that there are illegal
structures within road right of way particularly the parking of private vehicles that needs to
take an action in prohibiting the said activity for the implementation of road clearing;

Whereas, after thorough study and deliberation of Barangay Peace and Order Committee
Committee
(BPOC), suggest to implement the “No Parking Policy” in barangay through the execution of
ordinance or any related way to enact the said restriction/prohibition;

Wherefore, on motion of BPOC Vice Chairman Danilo N. Libag and duly seconded by all
members of the committee present, it was;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to recommend and submit the said policy to

the Sangguniang Barangay of Artacho, Bautista, Pangasinan for its appropriate
implementation.
