Conclusion and Implication: From what I had observed, the key source just spoke about
what was normally happening at the Tejeros Convention.
However, the second source managed to write down what
happened before, during and after the Convention of Tejeros.
With these accounts, I was able to notice certain variations. It
seemed that the Tejeros Convention had some mistake narrated
by Agoncillo that was incorrect and unprofessional at all. In the
primary source, Montenegro, for example, argued with General
Apoy. The second source, however, wrote that it was Santiago
Alvarez who had a heated moment with Montenegro. Agoncillo
listed a number of items that were not in the primary source,
including states. This might confuse individuals who study
Philippine history. I believe Agoncillo, with his feelings, got
carried away. When you carefully read the account, there is a
great deal of misunderstanding.
