Lesson 1: Pedagogical Content Knowledge and It’s Application across the Curriculum.

Activities:

1. Differentiate content knowledge from pedagogical knowledge and curricular knowledge.


Answer:
content knowledge is the knowledge of what is being taught, while Pedagogical
knowledge is the strategies of knowledge of how it is being taught to the student and
learner’s. and the curricular knowledge is the teachers understanding of the school
learning programs develop in the different levels.
2. Observe how the teacher aligns the content of the lesson to the curriculum.
Answer:
The student teacher aligns the content in a good sequence in preparing a lesson plan
and ability to think ideas to enrich his subject mastery.
3. Analyze the benefits of pedagogical content knowledge.
Answer:
Pedagogical content knowledge can lead to a deeper understanding of the subject in the
students gains, because if the teacher has a better content knowledge and really knows
how to teach the subject, the student and learners can easily understand the lessons
