The parts of the pipe cutter Description

The body of an adjustable pipe

cutter is shaped so that a pipe can lie
within it, against the blade.

The wheel of the adjustable

pipe cutter is protected by the shell
casing. The function of the wheel is to
rotate the pipe when cutting so that it
is cut perfectly (not only partially cut).

The rollers are two round

wheels which the pipe rests upon.
They spin around as the cutter is
rotated so that the pipe is not caught
up in the motion of the cutter and stays
in the same position.

The handle on the adjustable

pipe cutter is turned clockwise to
move the cutting wheel to the desired
position. When turned, moves the
wheel back and forth. This means that
it can cater to a number of different
sized pipes. When using the handle on
the adjustable pipe cutter has to be
tightened every couple of turns on the
pipe to keep the cut going.
