Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP)

LESSON OVERVIEW
In this lesson, you learn about the features and advantages of the rules-based availability
check. You learn about the objectives of integrated rule maintenance. You also learn about
the rule elements, rule types and procedures such as those for product substitution and
location determination.

● Explain production process model (PPM) substitution
● Set up the calculation profile and rule control

The rules-based availability check is an advanced method. The rules-based check provides
transparency across the entire supply chain. If the requested product is not available in the
requested location, the system can check for an alternative product or in an alternative
