Trade & Engagement Managers in Tridge are the communication bridge between suppliers,
buyers, and Tridge. As the local representative of Tridge, you will deliver our mission of creating
a safe and efficient global trade ecosystem. As the operator of supplier and buyer engagement,
you will facilitate communications and lay the foundation of successful trade deals.
Trade & Engagement Managers in Tridge are professionals who are responsible for building
relationships with local exporters and importers, managing various stakeholders in the local
area and developing market intelligence of various industries. As the Trade & Engagement
Manager of Tridge, you will manage and carry out various identification and verification tasks to
enhance Tridge’s trade ecosystem.
We are seeking passionate individuals to join Tridge as the Trade & Engagement Manager. This
position requires a strong initiative to understand the market landscape, exceptional
communication skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
*After you join Tridge, there will be webinar training sessions to help you better understand
your role in Tridge.
Responsibilities
Handle Whole Trading Process in your country: You will execute the whole Trading Project from
start to finish and develop the trading strategies with global based Deal Managers in Tridge.
Engage Buyers and Suppliers: You will contact and invite suppliers and buyers to Tridge. As the
local representative of Tridge, you will deliver the key benefits of using Tridge platform and help
them register on the Tridge platform.
Build Strong Relationships: You will communicate consistently with suppliers and buyers who
have partnered with Tridge. As the Trade & Engagement Manager, you will ensure that the
platform experience is pleasant and effortless for the suppliers and buyers.
Collect Intelligence: You will collect the most up-to-date market information through
communicating with suppliers and buyers. You will also conduct comprehensive market
research to strengthen Tridge’s market intelligence.
Cultivate Market Data Credibility: You will evaluate the supplier's credibility based on the
measurements and guidelines provided by Tridge.
Any other tasks that are necessary for maintaining the Tridge system and business partnership
Qualifications
Preferred
Knowledge in the major industries of the trading business of the following industries:
Agriculture(Fruits, Grains, Nuts) and Aquaculture(Fish farming and processing).

The Role
We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our
growing Marketing team here in Bangladesh. If you are looking for a place where you can gain
hands-on exposure and have direct impact, then this may be the place for you! The ideal
candidate will have a track record as a significant individual contributor – comfortable working
independently, whilst working closely with the Marketing team. The successful candidate will
have a key role in building and maintaining relationships with key strategic partners in
Bangladesh.
This role will be based in Bangladesh and will report directly to the Head of Marketing of
Bangladesh.
We are looking for someone who is a self-motivated individual who can perform under pressure
in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Able to break down complex issues into executable
strategies and detailed tactics.
Your market knowledge combined with your experienced commercial and communication
skills, together with analytical abilities, will enable you to support building and maintaining
impactful long-term partnerships, primarily with new partners.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing partnerships with key strategic partners for foodpanda Bangladesh
within banking, financial institutions, telcos, FMCG and retail industries.
Lead the research, identification, prioritization and execution of new partnership opportunities
to help foodpanda achieve increased brand awareness, new customers and new revenue.
Review and analyze performance of partnerships after each campaign and advise opportunities
for improvements & further developments.
Work with the marketing team to support campaigns with relevant partners, as and when
required.
Build and maintain a professional network for foodpanda.
Requirements
6+ years relevant work experience in strategic partnerships / business development with a
strong track record of establishing and implementing such partnerships.
Familiar with the marketing mix is required - i.e. how and when to leverage different marketing
channels from above-the-line and below-the-line communications for strategic partnerships.
Excellent knowledge of the market in Bangladesh, deep understanding of consumer insights.
Results oriented and data driven: Able to make data informed decisions for a strategic
partnership. Proven track record of utilizing data in forming innovative and interesting ideas
that are successfully operationalized into impactful partnership campaign execution.
Resourceful and creative problem-solving skills: Knack for identifying great partnership
initiatives.
Commercially focused and an outstanding relationship builder.
Fluent in English & Bengali; other language skills would be a plus.
Excellent knowledge of the food, lifestyle and e-commerce industry.
Good business network in Bangladesh.
Creative, persistent and an outgoing personality that is eager to learn.
Proactive, positive and self-motivated with the ability to work without close supervision.

FUNCTION MARKETING
BAT Bangladesh’s Trade Marketing System has gone through a steep transformation journey in
the last 5 years and it currently stands as an integrated ecosystem for all major trade marketing
activities. The platform is integrated with Retail Sales, B2B Platform Management, New Brand
Launches, Retailer Communications, Merchandising, ad-hoc insight generation, etc which is at
the core of our day to day business management.
The individual will be a key resource in the recently formed “Trade Analytics” workstream as
part of the Business Development Team; designing major Trade Marketing programs and
platforms to enable our 100+ member trade marketing team, the national distributor network
and the sales and distribution field force working on ground. There are also new business
categories under exploration of the Business Development team where the Trade Analytics
wing will play a key role as an enabler.
