The Role of Media and Information in Education in the New Normal brought about by the

Covid-19 Pandemic.

The COVID-19 has resulted in faculties shut all across the planet. Globally, over 1.2
billion kids are out of the schoolroom. As a result, education has modified dramatically, with the
distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms.
Research suggests that on-line learning has been shown to extend retention of knowledge, and
take less time, that means the changes coronavirus have caused could be here to remain.

In response to significant demand, many online learning platforms are offering free
access to their services, including platforms like Moodle and Google Classroom as a means of
sending online requirements or sending modules to the students. Also by the help of the video
call application like Google Meet and Zoom helps to interact with the students in a way that
they will have synchronous classes in making sure students are taught properly and will absorb
all the lessons even everyone is away from each other.

While some believe that the unplanned and fast move to online learning – with no
coaching, inadequate bandwidth, and small preparation – can lead to a poor user experience
that's unconducive to sustained growth, we still believe that a new upgraded or better model
for education in the new normal will emerge and give significant to much better benefits in the
days to come in this online learning.
