Rice Technology Solutions has thoroughly reviewed your Request For Proposal for your company
Friendly City Dogworks. After completing this review, we have eagerly decided to move forward
with your system request.

Our team is very satisfied with the business processes you currently have in place at Friendly City
Dogworks. We strongly believe that we can successfully design and implement a system for you that
includes all requirements listed without making any major changes to your day to day operations or
your current information technology.

We would like to take the time to ensure you of the following in regard to our proposal…

• The proposal includes a software system that fulfills all system requirements requested by
Friendly City Dogworks. The system will be separate from and not interfere with your
accounting practices through Peachtree Accounting Software.
• The proposal includes a wireless internet connection in your facilities. There will be a closed
connection for employee use and an open connection for clientele use.
• The proposal includes two new computers and two printers for your office, along with two
new iPads for your groomers.
• The proposal states that RTS will be responsible for installing all new hardwares and
softwares, and the new wireless internet connection in your facilities. Following the
installation, RTS will provide training on the setup and use of the new software system and
ensure that all employees are able to operate the system successfully on the new computers.
Training on the setup and use of the news printers and iPads will be provided as well.
• The creation and implementation of the new software system, the installation of all new
hardwares, and all training is to be completed in a 6-month timeframe and is not to exceed
the $250,000 budget.

The proposal will lay out the following in regard to your system request:

Our goal is to create and implement a new, automated system for your
company that will provide an online platform for customers to view the
services your company offers, enroll their dog into your company’s database,
and schedule services for their dogs. The system will store all information
submitted by the customer in real-time, so that your employees have
immediate access to everything they need. The system will be able to pull
service reports and boarding reports by day, week, month, or year.

Along with the creation and implementation of the system, Rice

Technology Solutions has agreed to install a wireless internet connection into
your facilities that will be compatible with Verizon FIOS. This internet
connection will be available to your employees (via a closed connection) and
to your customers (via an open connection). We would also like to give you
the option to choose from our inventory of desktop computers and printers to
be installed in your office. We can offer a discounted upgrade on your Dell
PCs along with brand new printers that will print in color.

• As seen above, once the customer accesses the website, they will have three specific options
integrated into the website.

• They will be able to Enroll their dog into Friendly City Dogworks and once enrolled will be
given the option to download their completed form for their own records.

• They will also be able to view service options and payment information for each service.

• If they decide they do want to schedule a service online, they will be able to do so through a
separate portion of the website and will have the ability to pay online as well.

• From your end, you will be able to add a user yourself and manage this user in the case of a
customer coming in person to enroll their dog and sign them up for a service. You will have
the ability to add any information to the Homepage you would like to advertise your
company and also have the distinct ability to pull customized reports.

Outline of Results

Our promise is to have the following done in a 6-month time frame:

1. Have the system created, implemented and operational for your company
2. Have test runs conducted to make sure the system is ready to be used in
daily operations
3. Install the wireless internet connection to be run through Verizon FIOS
4. Install any updated hardware of your choice and connect it to the wireless
connection
5. Train all employees on the use of the new system through desktop
computers and iPads for those that will be using the iPads

As a result of our labor-saving and cost-effective services, you will be

left with a wireless internet connection that your new web-based system can
operate through methodically. If you so choose, you will also be left with
updated hardware; contemporary desktops computers and/or printers.

As mentioned, we will provide full-cycle training of the new system

through either your current or updated hardware. Employees will be shown
how to easily convert data from paper to digital so there will be no cost of us
doing the data conversion for you. We will assure that the website is up and
running properly, and conduct test runs from the customer’s standpoint to
confirm that all data is moving through the system properly and can be
accessed on your end. Our work is not finished until all questions are
answered and all problems are taken care of!
