A.Market Forms of Poultry being Sold

1.Every Sunday, there are live poultries which are alert, well-feathered and well formed but this
are the native chicken sold with higher price than usual.

2.But on daily basis, there are dressed and drawn poultry, they are slaughtered but with complete
parts like the head, feet and all parts are intact but blood and feathers are removed.

3.Ready to cook and one by one poultry parts are also being sold on daily basis, the poultry was
already defeathered, they also sell different parts based on what the consumer wants like only
wing part, thigh part and even the organs which are all ready to cook.

B.Notes on appearance, color, odor and its cut.

1.For the appearance and color, many looks fresh and clean but some are undeniably frozen
which I think those aren’t sold on previous day and they will sell it on the next day. It is obvious
because of the way it looks and the texture of it.

2.On the odor, same with the appearance the fresh one smells ordinary and has no bad odor at all
but for those that are not fresh already, they have an unexplainable odor, it smells a bit gross.

3.For the cuts, it will base on the parts which will the consumer will buy and it was cut through
the tendons not with the bones because as what I had observed it will be hard if it will be cut on
bones and the parts will be deformed and its meat will break into pieces.
