    A SUMMARY
    The ​COVID-19​ pandemic has taken a huge toll on the global economy,The gravity of
    the issue can be understood through a vivid discussion on the business model of
    Britannia.Systematic cultivation and selling of crops has been hampered resulting in
    problems of raw materials for Britannia industry.When lockdown was first
    announced,the company benefitted a bit as the middle class and upper class families
    collected food materials due to the uncertainty of the period of lockdown.The
    enforcement of a complete lockdown gave a fatal blow to the demand curve.Many of
    its future endeavours were hit hard .The company has started following ​80-20​ strategy
    to combat the issue.The company has partnered with ​DUNZO​ for online delivery of its
    products.The company got a little boost due to PM’s urge of ‘​ATMA NIRBHAR
    BHARAT’ ​as the army canteens were stocked with its products.Due to this
    recession,the company has suffered a lot and is hoping for a distant recovery.
