I would like to be considered for the Horse Ranch Hand/Stable Hand at Mariah Farms. As an outdoors
and horses lover, and also someone who is very familiar with Castle Rock, I would feel very honored to
represent and provide excellent service to the citizens and members of the Castle Rock community. I
have many family connections in Castle Rock and the area surrounding, and I believe that my
hard-working and responsible attitude would qualify me for this position.

I will be graduating from high school this coming June, and I believe that my background in farm work
and seasonal jobs has prepared me well for the present position that is being offered. At these previous
jobs, I was very organized and always willing to do work, and do it to completion. As a member of your
staff, I would always be on time to work, be consistent and go above and beyond what is expected.

I have a good amount of experience with ranching; my grandparents live on a farm, and since I was able
to, I have been helping to maintain the land and their animals when they had them. Fellow coworkers at
other seasonal jobs and previous employers would say that I am hardworking, strong, diligent, punctual,
and responsible—and I would strive to make sure that I exemplify all these same characteristics working
for you.

My goal is to obtain a position as a ranch hand at Mariah Farms. I look forward to discussing the
