Hi everybody!

We are Estefania from New York, Laura from Texas and Maria from Seattle, Estefania is 22, Laura is
23 and Maria is 21. New York is located in the northeast of the United States and is the largest
country there. Their official language is English (not Spanish as we used to believe). Texas is
located in the southern United States, its official language is English (66.3) and Spanish (29.4) in
Texas its traditional dish is chili. Laura says it is the most delicious. in New York, its main dish is
Shake Shack Seattle it is also found in Washington, EE. UU . And its official language is English, that
is why we have learned some phrases in this beautiful language, its traditional dance is Flamenco.
Maria has also shared some videos and is good at dancing! We have been friends for 12 months
and we met through this website "Penpals in Funny Letters". We wanted to be pen pals because
we had the same dream: to speak English very well and learn about different cultures, as it is the
cradle of a good part of the cultural movements that the country has had, literature, music,
painting ... a good part has had In this city its birth and subsequent development, jazz for example

Now with the help of applications, we can share time together watching a movie instantly,
recommend different activities to do in the day and then share them with each other

Practical activities
Some of the activities we have done to improve our English have been. Listen to songs in
English to improve my learning, play games in English to improve my performance, Do
readings to learn more, listen to postcads to improve my academic performance, listening
to music to improve my speech, watching movies to learn more, read documents in
English, to have the configuration of my cell phone and my social networks in English and
to have conversations in English with some friends.

When we heard about the challenge suggested by the "pen pals in fun letters" website, we
started reading about America, we really enjoyed its culture. We do a lot of research
before traveling to this interesting country. First, we should not call them "Americans"
when using public transportation. Also, we should try the pecan pie because this dish
represents Texas and the United States in many ways. If we win this challenge, we will visit
the architectural fog and Disney world one of the tourist attractions of this beautiful
