3 CONDITIONAL - SEX AND THE CITY – THE MOVIE
A. WATCH THE MOVIE SEGMENT AND WRITE ( T ) TRUE OR ( F ) FALSE IN THE PARENTHESES,
ACCORDING TO THE INFORMATION PRESENTED IN THE MOVIE SEGMENT:

DIFFERENT IF THE CHARACTERS HAD ACTED DIFFERENTLY. USE THE 3RD CONDITIONAL.

1- If the little girl hadn’t hidden Carrie’s cell phone,


She would have received some calls.

2- If Carrie had known where her phone was,


She would have received Big’s messages.

3- If Big hadn’t taken too long to apologize,


Carrie wouldn’t have hit him with her wedding bouquet.

4- If Carrie’s friend had let Big explain what had happened,


Carrie wouldn’t have gone home in state of shock.

5- If Carrie and Big had gotten married,


They wouldn’t have had such a horrible afternoon.

C. TALK TO A FRIEND AND DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS:

1) What would you do if you were in Carrie’s shoes?


- I would let Ben explain what happened or his situation why he did this.

2) Who was right? Why?

- The bride because things are done and said in person.

3) How could the situation be prevented from happening?

- To talk in person about what they want each one.
