Creative Project
How do relationships shape our identity?
To conclude our unit on relationships, you will create a creative response. This may come in the form of
EITHER a selection of 5 original poems OR a visual response to one of the poems we’ve read over the course
of this unit. All work should demonstrate your learning and show revision.
 Poems should be typed and look polished and complete.
 Visual responses can be any original drawing, painting, sculpture or digital image. Please make sure this is
your best work and that it looks polished and complete.

Your poems or visual should connect to our essential question: How do relationships shape our identity?

Each creative response will require a rationale in the form of a short, unified paragraph that provides your
answer to the essential question, explains your choice of medium, use of imagery and symbolism and notes
one piece of feedback you used to improve your final product.

You will also submit a self-evaluation after submission (linked in a Google Form on D2L)

All work should be submitted to the D2L assignment called “Relationships Creative Project” by the end of class
on Thursday, March 25th. You will have most of class on March 23rd, 24th and 25th to work on this
