1. General
SID-2AF synchronizing device is applicable of synchronizing generator when beat frequency, and
also used to synchronizing power line when beat frequency or same frequency, the frequency
difference can be distinguished by device automatically. Connect point is collected when first
opportunity appear and perfect paralleling is completed by precise arithmetic. The device ensure
paralleling at the first zero phase-angle difference appear while beat frequency paralleling, then
implement paralleling without impacting. During synchronizing, unit frequency and voltage is
controlled by fuzzy logic which promised swift and stable adjustment ensuring fast connection.
SID-2AF is powered by advanced ARM chip and 16 bit high-speed A/D sampling technology. The
software runs under a real time operation system. Further important, two independent control
systems (including unaided power supply, CPU, A/D sampling, interface etc) are built inside device.
Every control system collects, manages and calculates TV signal, and output each control signal.
One of the signals will be connected with other control system’s switching circuit in series a
synchronization lockout signal to. This redundancy design makes our device much more reliable.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
1) 4 automatic identification channels per device for 1-4 units connecting to grid.
2) Adjustable parameters: Allowable voltage difference; Allowable frequency difference;
generator side TV secondary rated voltage; system side TV secondary rated voltage; over voltage
protection value; low voltage lock value; system side turn angle; allowable power angle; single side
no-voltage confirm; choose no-voltage side; both sides no-voltage confirm; synchronizing object
type; same frequency threshold; breaker closing time; regulate frequency coefficient; regulate
voltage coefficient; auto regulate voltage function; auto regulate frequency function; control pulse
width for same frequency ; breaker code; device number; communication baud rate; control mode;
language select;mode of export; allowable paralleling time.
3) The device can ensure the first zero phase differential appearing to be seized while differential
paralleling (between generator and busbar or two synchronous lines) and make paralleling without
impacting.
4) The device can make a fast paralleling of generators through the way it can lead frequency
differential and voltage differential into the allowable range according to the theory of fuzzy
control.
1
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

5) Paralleling will begin at once only if the power angle and the voltage difference are less than
the allowable values when paralleling between synchronous lines, otherwise , there must be a wait
and signal, whether it was differential frequency or identical frequency can be distinguished
automatically.
6) The device fits TV second voltage for phase voltage 57.7V or line voltage 100V,or can
energized by AC 220V voltage directly, and also it has turn angle function.
7) An acceleration control instruction will be given automatically when frequency is identical
during the process of paralleling of generators in order to cancel the identical frequency condition.
8) The device can surely avoid reverse-power and reactive power under excitation if necessary.
9) Over voltage protection function will export continuous signal of reduced voltage if over rated
voltage (over voltage value can adjust by user), it locks control loop of acceleration till voltage of
generator get right.
10) The device will automatically display measurement of real closing time, and the last eight
records in different channels, in order to make certain stabilization of breaker.
11) The device can work under foul condition due to the methods of enclosed and strict insulation
ways on electromagnetic and photoelectric.
12) AC or DC can be supplied for the device, it can adapt to 110V, 220V AC or DC power supply
automatically.
13) One side or both sides no-voltage operation can be accomplished according to the parameter
setting; when one side no-voltage operation, you have to choose which side is no-voltage.
14) Offer the record wave signal of closing contact and pulse voltage.
15) The device supply two RS485 of communication interface, communication agreement as
SID-2AF communication agreement.
16) Position machine watch over the manipulation of synchronizing device parallel in through
RS485 interface or look over device parameter, it adopts MODBUS standard communication
agreement.

4.2.1 Parameter setting and inquiring mode presentation
As shown in the chart of operate state, there are four operations in this mode: parameter setting,
password setting, inquire parameter, inquire breaker closing time, former two need to input
password, other two do not need. In this mode, SID-2AF does not handle input of system side and
generator side, every input signal (except Remote Reset) and every output signal (except Alarm) are
all in non-contact situation. Unless self error be found, the alarm usually on non-contact state.
4.2.2 Enter parameter setting and inquiring mode
Press “PARA” and “RESET” button for 2 seconds, the device shows:

If renew original parameter setting failed the screen will show:

RENEW ORIG. SET

FAILED

If renew original parameter setting is failed, it would be a problem on EEPROM. Generally, user
will not meet this situation, since the device has passed strict checking and high temperature aging
test long enough.
4.2.3.2 Parameter explanation
There are 20 parameters can be preset in “set synchronizing parameter” (referred to the 1-20th item
of appendix 3), other six parameters in “set device parameter” (referred to the 20-26th item of
appendix 3):
1. Allowable voltage difference
Allowable max voltage difference during synchronizing, voltage difference indicator will be on
when voltage difference over fixed range. When generator side voltage lower than system side and
voltage difference over fixed range, the indicator turns red, contrarily when generator side voltage
higher than system side, the indicator turns green, when within allowable voltage difference the
light does not bright.
Note that voltage difference is just for each rating voltage. Account formula of voltage difference is:
Voltage difference=(Generator side voltage/Generator side rated voltage-system side voltage/
system rated voltage ) ×100%.
The allowable voltage difference adjustable range is 1-20%, resolution is 1%, set“+”allow parallel
in only if generator side voltage higher or equal to system side voltage, namely after parallel in
generator side bring in some reactive power, avoid reverse-power. If set“±”the difference value to
be plus or minus, both can parallel in, initial setting is ±5%.
Note: When difference frequency paralleling, set “+”or “±” depended on the requirements of
the device parameter setting; When same frequency paralleling, set either “+”or “±”, “±”
is available.
ALLOWABLE
Parameter display as follow: VOLTAGE DIFFERENCE
① ±05%

2. Allowable frequency difference

Allowable frequency difference over adjustable range when synchronizing operating that frequency

11
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

difference indicator will be on, when generator side frequency lower than system side, and their
difference value over “ALLOWABLE FREQUENCY DIFFERENCE” value, the indicator turns red color,
contrarily, generator side higher than system side ,the indicator turns green , when the frequency
difference is allowable the indicator lightless.
Formula of account frequency difference is: Frequency difference = Generator side frequency –
System side frequency.
The allowable frequency difference adjust able range is 0.10-1.00 Hz, resolution is 0.01 Hz, set“+”
allow parallel in only if generator side frequency higher than system side frequency, namely after
parallel in generator side brings in some reactive power, avoid reverse-power. Set “±”, either the
difference value to be plus or minus can parallel in, initial setting is ±0.15 Hz.
Parameter display as follow:

ALLOWABLE
FREQUENCY DIFFERENCE
① ±0.15 Hz

3. Generator side rated voltage

Generator side TV secondary rated voltage value. For example, 95 V or 104 V etc, Phase voltage,
line voltage, or AC 220V grid voltage can be used. Because of different TV ratio and different
voltage rank, it will bring deflection to device input voltage; the deflection could be corrected by
this parameter.
Generator side rated voltage adjustable range is 40.0V~242.0V, resolution is 0.1V, initial setting is
100.0V
Parameter display as follow:
INCOMER TV
RATED VOLTAGE
① 100.0V

4. System side rated voltage

System side TV secondary rated voltage value. For example, 95V or 97V etc, device can use phase
voltage, line voltage, or use AC 220V grid voltage. Because of different TV ratio or different
working voltage, there will bring deflection to device input voltage; the deflection could be
corrected by the parameter.

4.3 Normal work mode

4.3.1 Normal work mode simply stated

This mode is the most important one in the device, apply to synchronization operation. According to
the setting parameters and real time dates, the device completes synchronization. In the same
frequency paralleling as well as in remote control, if the synchronization conditions are not satisfied,
the device gives out remote information. In the generator paralleling, in order to synchronize fast, if
frequency difference or voltage difference too large, or same frequency appears, the device will
regulate frequency and voltage quickly and reasonably.

The upper part shows five information, the “ABCD” is the parallel code, the “θ” is the angle
difference between system side and generator side, the “T” represents actual closing time of circuit
breaker operation loop (if no closing operation, only display the unit ms, if the closing operation
failed display ----ms, “δ” shows secondary voltage turn angle of system side.
The second half of the LCD screen is the state display zone, as in the main menu.

4.3.4 Synchronization in the device

After enter the normal working mode, the device firstly self check. If the self-check fails, the device
alarms and locks. If self-check is passed, the input will be check-up. If input or voltage doesn’t fill
the condition (detail shows in the checking menu), the device alarms and locks.
If the inputs meet the synchronization requirement, the device will give out “ready” signal. At the
moment if “start synchronization” signal is given, the device enter the synchronization course
automatically.
Entering the synchronization course, the synchronization type is determined firstly, it can be single

22

side no-voltage closing, both sides no-voltage closing, same frequency paralleling, beat frequency
paralleling. Once the synchronization type is determined, the synchronization continues.
During the synchronization process, if something that can make automatically fulfill
synchronization failed appear, the device alarms and locks. When the closing condition is satisfied,
the device gives out closing signal and completes the synchronization operation. When generator
synchronizing (set device output mode to control), if the frequency difference or the voltage
difference exceeds the setting scope and the frequency and the voltage regulation is allowed, the
device sends correlative control instruction. The device is locked when the operation completes.
The synchronization flow sheet as follow:

23
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

4.3.4.1 Self-check
At the self-check phase, the device checks its working estate and correlative parameters. The
self-check error may be:
1. Synchronization parameter EEPROM read/write error, it registers “EEPROM1 READ/WRITE
ERROR” and gives out “alarm” signal, the alarm pilot lamp shines at the same time. (The alarm pilot

lamp shines and alarm signal sent out when alarm happen, the follow will not mention this)
2. MCU1 analog sampling parameters EEPROM read/write error, the alarm register signal is
“EEPROM2 READ/WRITE ERROR”.
3. MCU2 analog sampling parameters EEPROM read/write error, the alarm register signal is
“EEPROM3 READ/WRITE ERROR”.
4. Synchronization parameter illegal, the alarm register signal is “SET PARAMETERS ERROR”.
5. MCU1 analog sampling parameters illegal, the alarm register signal is “MCU1 CALIBRATION
PARAMETER ERROR”.

6. MCU2 analog sampling parameters illegal, the alarm register signal is “MCU2 CALIBRATION
PARAMETER ERROR”.

7. Communication error between MCU1 and MCU2, the alarm register signal is “MCU2
COMMUNICATION ERROR”.

8. Communication error between MCU2 and MCU3, the alarm register signal is “MCU3
COMMUNICATION ERROR”.

The device must be reset to exit alarm state after alarm.

If self-check passes, the device enters input check.

4.3.4.2 Input check

The input value includes digital input value and TV secondary voltage input both of system side and
generator side.
There are 11 situations that the device alarms, the correlative alarm register signal as follows:
1. “NO PARALLEL POINT”, this means no selected point signal sent into the device.
2. “MULTI- PARALLEL POINT”, more than two selected point signals sent into the device.
3. “NO VOLTAGE DI ERROR”, single side no-voltage and both sides no-voltage in effect at the
same time brings the result that working mode unknown.

24
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

4. “FORBID SINGLE SIDE NO-VOLTAGE”, single side no-voltage signal exists, but synchronization
parameter is setting to forbid single side no-voltage, namely at the “N” status.
5. “FORBID DOUBLE SIDES NO-VOLTAGE”, both sides no-voltage signal exists, but synchronization
parameter is set to forbid both sides no-voltage, namely at the “N” status.
6. “BREAKER CLOSED”, haven’t synchronization operation, but the auxiliary contact is detected at
closed state.
7. “TV OPEN CIRCUIT”, TV wire-break signal have been detected.
8. “INCOMER VOLTAGE LOW”, neither single side no-voltage signal nor double sides no-voltage
signal exists, the generator side voltage is detected lower than low voltage lock value.
9. “BUSBAR VOLTAGE LOW”, neither single side no-voltage signal nor both sides no-voltage
signal exists, the system side voltage is detected lower than low voltage lock value.
10. “NOT CONFORM TO SINGLE SIDE NO VOLTAGE CONDITION”, single side no-voltage signal is
in effect, and the synchronization parameter is set to allow single side no-voltage paralleling, but
the voltage measured does not fill the no voltage condition as appointed in “SELECT NO VOLTAGE
SIDE”. ( no voltage means voltage lower than 20%of rated voltage, and voltage existent means

voltage higher than low voltage lock value), for example when system side is appointed to no
voltage, but actually generator side no voltage.
11. “NOT CONFORM TO BOTH SIDE NO-VOLTAGE CONDITION”, both side no-voltage signal is in
effect, and the synchronization parameter is set to allow both side no-voltage paralleling, but the
voltage measured does not fill the both side no voltage condition (voltage lower than 20% of rated
voltage).
The device alarms when any of the above happens and it must be reset in order to exit the alarm
state.
If any of the above does not happen, the input check passes, the device enter the “start command
check”.

4.3.4.3 Start command check

The device detects the input signal of “start up SYNC.”.
If it has not detected any “start up SYNC.” Signal, the device will return to “input check” and
display a prompt message “WAIT FOR START ORDER”.

25
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

If it has detected the input signal, then the device enters “JUDGE SYNCHRONIZING TYPE”.

4.3.4.4 Judge synchronizing object type

Possible synchronous modes are single-side no-voltage closing, both-side no-voltage closing, same
frequency paralleling, difference frequency paralleling.
Among them, the first two synchronous modes would be confirmed by relevant parameters and
input signals.
If "object type" parameter is set to "difference frequency", the device will not automatically
distinguish same frequency or difference frequency, it controls according to difference frequency
paralleling mode directly.
If "object type" parameter is set to "same frequency", the device will automatically distinguish
paralleling types firstly. It will cost a few seconds to distinguish same frequency or difference
frequency, during this time the registered message is "JUDGE SYNC.TYPE ".
After having determined the synchronous type, the device enter synchronous process.

4.3.4.5 Synchronous process

After access to the synchronous process, the device would not check input signal (except remote
reset), so change the state of the input signal will not affect the synchronous process.
The device based on different synchronous modes will carry on different synchronous procedure.

4.3.4.5.1 Single-side no-voltage closing

After enter the single side no voltage close process, if the input meets the single side no voltage
close condition, the device will sends out close command immediately.
When under incomer over-voltage condition, the device messages “INCOMER OVER VOLTAGE”. If
voltage regulate is enabled and the output mode is set to “CONTROL”, the device will send out a
continual signal of decrease voltage.

4.3.4.5.2 Both-side no-voltage closing

Correlated conditions have been check in the input inspection, if the input does not match the
condition of double sides no-voltage closing, it will not enter double sides no-voltage closing

26
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

synchronous process, so in double sides no-voltage closing, once the device enters the synchronous
process the closing command is sent out immediately.

4.3.4.5.3 Same frequency paralleling

Accessing to the same frequency paralleling process, if the power angle and voltage difference
within the setting scope, the closing command is sent immediately.
If system frequency is larger than 51.6Hz, the device will wait, and the corresponding message is
“BUSBAR FREQ. HIGH”. If system frequency is lower than 47.4 Hz, the device will wait, and the

corresponding message is “BUSBAR FREQ. LOW”.

If voltage difference overrun, power angle overrun or generator side over-voltage, the device waits,
the corresponding messages is "VOLT. HIGH "or " VOLT. LOW", “POWER ANGLE OVER” or
“INCOMER OVER VOLTAGE ”. When power angel overrun, the device will send a remote signal
"power angle overrun", when voltage difference overrun, the device will send a remote signal
"voltage difference overrun".
In the waiting process, if the system side or generator side voltage is lower than the set value of
low-voltage protection, the device will alarm and enter the locked state, the corresponding messages
is "BUSBAR LOW-VOLTAGE LOCK" or "INCOMER LOW-VOLTAGE LOCK".
In the waiting process, if the system parallel off (frequency difference suddenly increase or phase
angle exceeds more than ± 90°), the device will alarm and enter the locked state, the corresponding
message is “SAME FREQUENCY SYNC. FAILED".
If the waiting time over the allowable paralleling time, the device alarms and enters the locked state
due to the long waiting time, the corresponding message is “SYNC.OVER-TIME FAILED ".

4.3.4.5.4 Difference frequency paralleling

Entered the difference frequency paralleling process, the device will calculate the maximum leading
angle based on allowable frequency difference and closing time, once the frequency difference and
voltage difference within the setting scope, the "device lock" contact will connect when phase angle
entering the range of maximum leading angle.
When the frequency difference and voltage difference within the setting scope, the device calculates
leading angle based on real-time frequency difference (including the trend of its change) and the

27
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

closing time. If the phase angle does not equal to the leading angle or not run to 0 °, the device wait
and shows " SYNCHRONIZING”, if the phase angle equal to the leading angle and run to 0 °,
"closing" contact will be connected to ensure capture the first zero phase differ and paralleling with
no impulse.
If system frequency is larger than 51.6Hz, the device will wait, and the corresponding message is
“BUSBAR FREQ. HIGH”. If system frequency is lower than 47.4 Hz, the device will wait, and the
corresponding message is “BUSBAR FREQ. LOW”.
If the voltage of generator side is larger than that of system side (referring to the relative percentage
of rated voltage) and exceeds the scope allowed, the device will prompt information "VOLTAGE
HIGH" and send a remote signal of voltage difference overrun. If output mode has been set to

“CONTROL”, and the regulation of voltage is allowable, the device will send descent voltage signal
to control generator voltage.
If the voltage of generator side is lower than that of system side (referring to the relative percentage
of rated voltage) and exceeds the scope allowed, the device will prompt information "VOLTAGE
LOW" and send a remote signal of voltage difference overrun. If output mode has been set to

“CONTROL”, and the regulation of voltage is allowable, the device will send increase voltage signal
to control generator voltage.
If the generator side voltage is higher than permissible value, the device messages "INCOMER OVER
VOLTAGE". If output mode is set to “CONTROL” and the regulation of voltage is allowable, the

device will sent a continuous signal of voltage down.

If the frequency of generator side is larger than that of system side and exceeds the scope allowed,
the device will prompt information "FREQUENCY HIGH", If output mode is set to “CONTROL” and
the regulation of frequency is allowable, the device will send speed down signal to control generator
frequency; If the output mode is set to “SIGNAL”, the device will send remote signal “frequency
difference overrun”.
If the frequency of generator side is smaller than that of system side and exceeds the scope allowed,
the device will prompt information "FREQUENCY LOW", If output mode is set to “CONTROL” and
the regulation of frequency is allowable, the device will send speed up signal to control generator
frequency; If the output mode is set to “SIGNAL”, the device will send remote signal “frequency
difference overrun”.

28
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

When the system side and generator side frequency are very close (i.e. the situation in the same
frequency), the device will prompt "SAME FREQUENCY"; If device output mode is set to
“CONTROL” and the regulation of frequency is allowable, the device will send speed up signal in
order to break the same frequency and complete synchronization quickly; If the output mode is set
to “SIGNAL ”, the device will send remote signal “same frequency”.
If the output mode is set to "SIGNAL ", the "speed up", "speed down", "voltage up" and "voltage
down" are invalid.
If the synchronization operation does not succeed when the allowable paralleling time has gone, the
device will enter the locked state and the corresponding messages is " SYNC. OVER-TIME FAILED".
In the synchronous process, if the voltage of system side or generator side is lower than the lock
value of low-voltage protection, the device alarms and enters locked state, the corresponding
information is "BUSBAR LOW VOLTAGE LOCK" or “INCOMER LOW VOLTAGE LOCK".
It should be stated that, if the generator side over-voltage, the device does not send speed up
command.

4.3.4.6 Complete synchronous operation

After a closing command issued, the device will be locked and displays the message of synchronous
success. After that, the device will keep detecting the auxiliary contact to confirm whether circuit
breaker close up; If in twice closing time ( Setting value) the device has not detected the auxiliary
contact closed, the device will prompt information "BREAKER UNCLOSED";If breaker closed is
detected, the message maintains “SYNCHRONIZING OK” and the closing time of switch is show as
related in section 4.3.3.

Appendix 1: Calibration mode

● calibration mode declaration:This mode is one kind of factory work modes, is used to
calibrate frequency, voltage effective value, and phase angle difference in the production process.
Users only need to use in re-calibrate accuracy; under the mode closing relay and synchronous
locked relay do not act in accordance with action logic as show in section 4.3.4, so access to the
mode, the device must be divorced from closing control circuit.
● Enter the calibration mode: to enter the mode, Short-circuit the jumpers JP1 and JP2 on
power supply board (the board JP1 on), and then electrify to start the device.
● display and instructions
Enter this mode, first shown as follows:

INPUT PASSWORD
0000

By now, through '>>' key and '+' key enter the password, then press 'Enter' key to confirm, if the
password correct then enter to menu choices, displayed as follows:

57.7V CALIBRATE
100V CALIBRATE

To ensure precise for voltage in the whole range, it need to calibrate three points, 57.7 V, 100V and
220V in turn. Press 'parameter' key to choose calibration point. Press 'Enter' key to enter calibration
interface which includes three menus, as follows:

INPUT CALIBRATE
S: 057.7V 50.000 Hz
G: 057.7V θ:000.0°

MCU1 TEST
S: 057.7V 50.000 Hz
G: 057.7V θ:000.0°

MCU2 TEST
S: 057.7V 50.000 Hz
G: 057.7V θ:000.0°

The three menus can transfer to each other through “PARA” button. The first menu is for inputting
calibration values while the second and the third menus display actual measured values. The "S"

35
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

says system side, the data after “S” is system voltage and frequency, the "G" says generator side, the
data after “G” is generator voltage, "θ" means phase angle difference.
To ensure the reliability of calibration, the system side frequency input range from 49.950 to 50.049
Hz, phase angle difference input ranges from 0 to 359.9 °. To calibrate 57.7 V, the calibration
voltage input ranges from 51.9V to 63.4 V while in 100 V calibration, the calibration voltage input
ranges from 90.0 to 110.0 V, and in 220 V calibration, the calibration voltage input ranges from
198.0 to 242.0 V. After input accurate calibration value, press "ENTER" button and the device will
calibrate automatically.
Look over Calibration results through the two measurement inquiry menus, if the calibration error is
larger than two scales after calibrate, you can return to the "INPUT CALIBRATE DATE" interface and
calibrate again.
When calibrating, if actual signal of system and generator side are not match with the calibration
values seriously (for example real value is 220V, but in calibration the value input is 57.7 V), the
menu displays "CALIBRATE ERROR" (as follow), and will return to "INPUT CALIBRATE" interface
automatically in two seconds.

Appendix 2: Self-check mode

● Self-check mode declaration:This mode is one kind of factory work modes, is used to detect
device hardware in the production process. Users generally do not need to use; under the mode
closing relay and synchronous locked relay do not act in accordance with action logic as shown in
section 4.3.4, so access to the mode, the device must be divorced from closing control circuit.
● Enter the self-check mode:Short-circuit the jumpers JP1 and JP2 on power supply board (the
board JP1 on), and then press the 'parameters' key, hold, start device, then access to the mode.
● Display and instructions
Enter this mode, the device self check automatically. The first is LED self-check,all LED(Except
power indicated light)light in turn periodically. The voltage difference lamp and the frequency
difference lamp are the double-color lamps, red and green light one time in turn, and the LCD
screen shows:

LED SELF-CHECK

Press ‘ENTER’ to enter LCD self-check,the device automatically scan LCD screen in ranks, after
the scan shows:

LCD SELF-CHECK

In the process of LCD self-check or after LCD self-check, press ‘ENTER’ to key self-check:

KEY SELF-CHECK

When a key was pressed down, one of ‘RESET’, ‘>>’, ‘ESC’, ‘+’ and ‘PARAMETER’ would be
shown, for example press ‘PARA’ key then displays:

KEY SELF-CHECK
PARAMETER

Notes: ‘ENTER’ key can not be check.

Press ‘ENTER’ to EEPROM self-check,if correct shows as follows:
37
WebSite: http://www.szidd.com E-mail:szidd@163.net

EEPROM CHECK.
OK

If self-check has mistake, the menu displays “EEPROM CHECK.EEP1 R/W ERROR”、“EEPROM
CHECK.EEP2 R/W ERROR” or “EEPROM CHECK.EEP3 R/W ERROR” according to the error type.

The three errors mean “device parameter memory EEPROM R/W error”, “MCU1 sample
calibration parameter memory EEPROM R/W error” and “MCU2 sample calibration parameter
memory EEPROM R/W error” respectively. When multi-errors come, the menu just displays the
first error message, for example, three EEPROM mistakes at the same time, it displays:

EEPROM CHECK.
EEP1 R/W ERROR

Press ‘ENTER’ to check digital Input /output, there are 13 inputs and 13 outputs, shown as below:

DI/DO CHECK
DI:01 DO:03

It will display 00 when no input, 1~12 when one input and 99 when more than one inputs.
Output display 00~13,which can be modified by ‘+’key, 00 equals no output, 01~13 shows relevant
output.
Before pressing “ENTER” key to enter communication self check, JK2-1 should be shorted with
JK2-4, and JK2-3 with JK2-6. If the self check correct, the following menu is displayed:

COMM. CHECK.
OK

If the self check error, the menu displayed is:

COMM. CHECK.
ERROR

Press ‘ENTER’ return to LED self-check, ordinal cycle.
