LEGS & BODY (aquamarine yarn)

Make two:
YARN: Light (3) Aquamarine, Terra Cotta; Classic
Cotton Thread in Black
MATERIALS: D - 3.25 mm Hook; Poly Filling
DIMENSION: H. 9” x L. 4.5” x W. 2.5”
ABBREVIATIONS: magic ring (mr), stitch (st), slip Rnd 1: 8 sc in a mr (8)
stitch (sl st), single crochet (sc), Rnd 2: sc inc around (16)
double crochet (dc), back loop only (BLO), fasten off Rnd 3: (1 sc, 1 sc inc) rep around (24)
(F/O) Rnd 4: (3 sc, 1 sc inc) rep around (30)
SKILL LEVEL: Beginner Rnd 5: working in BLO, sc even (30)
INSTRUCTIONS: work in rounds Rnd 6 - 7: working in both loops now, sc even
(join with a sl st and ch 1 at the end of each round) (30)
unless otherwise instructed.
Do not cut the yarn once you have crocheted
the 2nd leg, ch 2 instead. TAIL (aquamarine yarn)

Merge the 2 legs together:


Rnd 1: 4 sc in a mr (4)
Rnd 8: join the yarn to any one st of the last Rnd 2: (1 sc, 1 sc inc) rep twice (6)
round of the 1st leg, work 1 sc into the same st, Rnd 3: sc even (6)
then work 29 sc, (keep working into the 2 Rnd 4: (2 sc, 1 sc inc) rep twice (8)
chains in between the legs), 2 dc, (keep Rnd 5: sc even (8)
working on the 2nd leg), 30 sc, (keep working Rnd 6: (3 sc, 1 sc inc) rep twice (10)

F/O and leave a long strand of yarn to sew


the head to the front of the body, between
rnds # 9-14; stuff the head firmly before
sewing it to the body.
