How to make a Kaleidoscope

You will need:

 3 rectangular mirrors

 a round tube made out of any material

 a cap that fits the bottom of the tube to

allow turning

 Beads, stickers, markers

 2 round plastic disks or glass*

Intructions

1. Decorate the small round tube and topper with paint, markers, stickers, decoupage, wallpaper, or any
kind of scrapbook paper. Poke or cut a peak hole through the top.

2. Tape the 3 rectangular mirrors together into a triangular pyramid shape.

3. Secure inside the round tube with a tough glue like Gorilla Glue or a filling agent.

4. Tape or glue a disk over the mirror. Add beads, stickers, and even decorate the clear plastic circle with
markers, paint, and glitter glue. Tape or glue another disk over this area to keep beads, gems, or other
things in place that will be inside the kaleidoscope. You should be able to see them through the bottom
turning cap.

5. Be creative. Kaleidoscopes can have almost anything in them. Tape a picture with stained glass on one
of the discs for a beautiful sunlight effect. Add beads, gems, jewelry, charms for the inside part. Put
stickers on the disc of anything you like: Sponge bob, Hannah Montana, etc.
