to be discovered and mysteries to unlock. And if you

potions, exploring new realms and more, then you
mustincludeTerarriainyourgamelist.

Chapter1.WhatisTerraria?


Terraria is a sandbox game series that is packed of

actionsandadventures.Itstartsbybuildingyourown
house, digging for Ore and other resources that you
need to survive. You can discover over 300 different
kindsofcoolarmorsandweaponsthatyoucanuseto
defeatyourenemies.Youwillalsofightsomelargeand
bellicosebossesasyougoon.

Youcanneverbeboredfortherearelotsofthingsto
dointhegame,youcangofishing,lookforthegems,
discover floating islands, and find out some
undergrounddessertsandalotmore.

WhatistheobjectiveofTerraria?

Terrariaencouragesyoutobuild,discover,exploreand
survive.

Itisnotagamethatsorts’gameadvancesinlevels,but
as you go on; your character will grow stronger and
tougher.Toachievethisyouneedtodiscoverasmany

1.CutTrees

ͲLookforgoodtreesandusetheaxetochopitdown.
Youwillusethesewoodstobuildyourownhousethat
willgiveyoushelterandprotectyoufromenemiesat
night.

ͲYouwillbeneedinglotsoftreesthroughoutthegame
soberesponsiblebyplantingAcornsfornewtrees.

2.Buildahouse

ͲA workbench is essential so be sure to have it. Use
woods to make one and stand near it to make new
items.

ͲStart by crafting a wooden hammer, wooden sword
andlotsofwoodwallblocks.

ͲWhile you are building your house, there will be

annoying Slimes in the place. You can kill them and
theywillbringflammablegelsandcoins.

ͲIn building your house, fill the walls with stones or
woods. It can be made at a workbench and this will
protect you from enemies. You can use a hammer to
removethebackgroundwalls,juststarttodestroythe
edges before focusing on the middle and if it’s
stubbornyoucanusesomeexplosivetoblowit.

ͲPlace wood walls in the landscape to create a wood

panel backdrop, enclose it properly; you can directly
use unrefined woods on the landscape to construct
walls.

ͲDo not use dirt blocks for walls or else zombies will
bother you at night. Make sure that your house is
strong and fully covered to protect you for there are
lotsofcreepyenemiesthatwillbugyouatnight.

ͲCraft a good door by gouging 3 blocks high gaps at

each end of your structure. Right click to open and

closethedoor.Thenputtorchesinthewallstoserve
asthesourceoflightinsidethehouse.

ͲYoucanplacethedoorbyleftclickeithertheupperor
thelowerpoint.

ͲDoors closed will block the flow of waters and it
cannotbebrokendownbyalava.

ͲTo create torches, you can kill slimes and combine

theirgelstoawood.

ͲTobrewpotions,makeanAlchemystationbyplacing
abottleonthetopofaworkbench.

ͲGetplentyofwoodsandgotoyourworkbenchsoyou
cancreatesomewoodenswordsandhammer.

ͲYoucanusestonefurnacesandtorchestomeltOres.

ͲTocreateyourownarmors,youcanuseAnvils.

ͲToascendtheequipmenttiers,collectsomeOres.

ͲAlso,youmustcreateahouseforNPCs.NPCsareyour
goodcompanionsthatwillhelpyou.Thereareatotal
of 7 NPCs in the start of the game and each one will
appearonceyouhavemettheindividualsrequiredfor
eachNPCs.

In building a good house for the NPC, you must take
noteofthefollowingtips:


ͲLike any other house, it must have a roof, walls and
door and the walls must not share a wall with other
houses.

ͲForthemtomovein,thehousemustbelargeenough.
It must be around 14 to 16 blocks wide and 6 to 8
blocks tall. And make sure that there are no holes in
thehouse.

ͲYou must make the room big, place a light inside,

makeawoodentableandchair.

ͲThe first house that you build will be taken by the
guide and you have to create other houses as you
meettheother6NPCs.
