Article 3. (1) To be able to be
appointed as safety inspector , the
following requirements shall be
fulfilled:
a. Official of the Department of
Manpower, Transmigration and
Cooperatives;
b. Having special skill;
c. Having followed the safety
inspector candidate training to be
organized by the Department of
Manpower, Transmigration and
Cooperatives;
Article 3. (2) To be able to be
appointed as safety expert shall be
fulfilled

a. Having special skill;
b. Having followed the safety
inspector candidate training to be
organized by the Department of
Manpower, Transmigration and
Cooperatives;
c. Being familiar with provisions of
Labor legislation in general and in
the field of safety in particular.

follows:
• Authorization and obligation of a
Safety Inspector (Article 4(1)) & (2);
• Authorization and Obligation of a
Safety Expert (Article 5(1) & (2));
Sanctions to Safety Inspector and or
Safety Expert who consciously
disclose a secret entrusted to them
as meant in Article 4 (2)c and
Article 5 (2)e shall be subject for
punishment in accordance with
Article 6 (2) of Act No. 3/1951
regarding Labor Inspection, (see
Article 6 in this regulation)
Article 7(1). Safety Inspector and
Safety Expert can continue his tasks
before formal letter made by the
Minister.
Article 7(2). This regulation is
effective from the date of its
determination.
