Location:

As our business has primary target as students, we have chosen areas where
educational institutes’ density is quite large. So, we found out areas near to south
campus and north campus of Delhi University and other areas like South Delhi. The
south campus areas are Motibagh, Dhaula kuan, Satya niketan, Lajpat nagar,
Chanakyapuri , and north campus areas are Kingsway camp, Kamla nagar , Roop
nagar, Sarup nagar, Shakti nagar, Model town, Maurice nagar. In South Delhi, we are
concentrating on Katwaria Sarai, Ber Sarai, Munirka, Hauzkhas. Also some areas in
East Delhi like Lakshmi nagar, Geeta Colony are potential market for our photo copier
business. In these areas the number photocopier shops are on an average of 20 per
area. And one photocopier shop copies a minimum of 500 sheets per day. Hence if
around 50% of sheets would be copied by using our A4 paper sheets with
advertisement then, approximately 250 sheets will be consumed by a shop per day.
Hence each area would consume 5000 sheets per day. We are looking at nearly 20
regions in New Delhi. Hence per day consumption of sheets would be 1 lac per day.

Target customers are basically student. They may be regular students continuing their
study in any educational institutes, preparing for competitive exams to get into some
institutes or job aspirants. Currently we are not looking for catering to government
offices. Later we’d definitely look into these customers.

Other set of target customers are the business organizations, which are the revenue
generator for us. These customers are the companies which are providing revenue for
advertising their brand on photocopy sheets. They want to be assured about the
penetration of our business such that their brand image will reach to more customer
base.

Lease & Rental Rates:

We have taken a one room flat for our office purpose with a monthly rent of Rs. 3000/-.
Electricity and water bill per month comes out to be Rs. 300/-.
Labour needs and wages rate:

We have employed one person as supervisor to look after the office and Photocopier
shops needs. His salary is Rs. 2500/- per month. One more person is employed for
shipping photocopier sheets to shops whenever needed. His salary per month is Rs.
1500/-.

Layout:

As our business is basically getting contract from companies to advertise their brand,
collecting order from our photocopier shops and providing them the required number of
sheet, we don’t need any big office area or any manufacturing unit. What we have is a
single room flat as our office.
