3 MOBILIZATION OF EQUIPMENTS
To execute this project THI will bring and utilize some equipment including but not limited to: Drilling
Rig and Accessories, Mud Pump System, Well Construction Materials, Well Develompment Tools,
Pumping test Equipment, and material supply for Well completion and other supporting tools.
Equipment for Lifting and the lifting job during loading and loading equipment from and to Vessel
Cargo or Landing Craft Tank (LCT ), mobilization to drilling site, and seting up drilling equipment will
be conducted by BP Team.
List of equipments for groundwater well drilling project provided by THI are given in Appendix A
Inspection will be conducted several times by Sucofindo regarding to the availability of materials.
Some materials must wait to be inspected due to late of delivery time escpecially for imported
materials. Some materials also takes time for fabricated in-house by THI, such as open rack, flat rack,
etc.

ISO Frame container will be provided and used by BP to handling and lifting this kind of Cargo Carrying
Unit. Totally 4 (four0 containers is planned to be utilized.

There are 2 (two) type of racks fabricated by THI. Both of racks basically have typical design size (figure
3) but different in height. There is open rack having a size of 6058 mm x 2438mm x 1200m, then the
other one having a size of 6058 mm x 2438mm x 800m.
The example arrangement inside the open rack & pipe rack shown in figure 4. These open racks will
be lifted using spreader bar and two leg wire rope provided by THI.

The size of fuel tank is 2000 liter and functioned as a main tank that supply the original tank inside the
generator. This arrangement will allow the generator running continuously during pumping test (10
days) without re-fueling.
The flat rack’s size is 6050mm x 2430 x 1900mm. Detail design especially related to the lifting method
is still in discussion with BP and waiting for the approval.

All of this flat rack is equipped with 4(four) dedicated pad eyes at bottom side to accommodate safe
and proper handling. For handling purposed all of this flat rack will use a spreader bar with single leg
wire rope or two leg wire rope.
Detail design especially related to the lifting method is still in discussion with BP and waiting for the
approval.

The pallet is equipped with 2 (two) way entry at the bottom for handling by forklift or Manitou. The
goods being loaded on the pallet will be wrapped and lashed to make sure it is fixed on the base of
pallet.
Totally almost 170 units of wooden pallet are prepared by THI to carry cement, filter pack (silica sand)
and mud fluid.
The drilling rig’s dimension is 10.92m x 3.30m x 4.45m and having the gross weight of 30 tons. The
detail of dimension of rig are shown in the figure 9.

THI will provide the manifest representing information related to the equipments (e.g. contract
number, weight, dimension, final destination, contact person in Tangguh LNG site, description,
quanties and identification number).
EMA (Equipment Moving Approval) issued and approved by BP and others inspection documents will
be attach with the manifest during hand over to BP at each mobilization point.
Safe and proper land transportation to reach the mobilization points will be provide by THI. During
the trip to mobilization point equipment also will be secure with weather protection and also tools for
equipment handling prior to handover to BP.

Since there are 2 (two) different mobiliziation points in Ciwandan Port, West Java and Lamongan Shore
Base Port, East Java, the routes will describe separately in the table 3 below:
Loading and unloading of all THI Cargo will be conducted and controlled by BP. The lifting method and
plan will be intensively communicated between THI and BP during the preparation of loading and
unloading.
All THI cargo will be transported from mobilization port using dedicated charted vessel or Landing
Craft Tank (LCT) provided by BP. After reach the LNG Tangguh Site Port, all cargo will be loaded on
dedicated land transport to to the drill site.

During the arrival of all cargo, THI personnel must keep the comunication with BP’s port representative
to ensure all cargo are completely mobilized to the drill site.
7 MOBILIZATION SCHEDULLE
The mobilization will be conducted partially into some batches that will be started in the mid of
September as presented in the APPENDIX B. It should be noted that the actual mobilization schedule
will be depend on the BP’s shipping schedule.
The first batch will be prioritized to the equipment, material, and tools which not require EMA
(Equipment Mobilization Approval) such as: chemical, parts, non-precision power hand tools (tool kit),
civil material, safety and PPE, electrical accessories (non-plan). Based on the requirement of EMA The
first batch will be:
• Annulus Filled Material: Cement, Silica Sand, and Bentonite Pellet. The material will be packed
on the wooden pallet, wrapped and lashed. It should be noted that not all annulus materials
will be mobilized at once.
• Parts, tool kits, safety and PPE, Electrical accessories, Biodegradable Oil etc. These stuff will
be put into the ISO containers have been inspected by BP. At least 1 (one) – 2 (two) containers
will be mobilized.
The second batch will be executed after trial or drilling simulation at THI workshop, Bandung
scheduled on third week of September 2018 and EMA for some equipment and materials have been
received from BP.
The second batch equipment and material will be prioritized on the minimum requirement to execute
the first and production holes, such as:
• Drilling Rig Dando Mintec 12.8. This is the crawler mounted rig, so that this rig can move by
themselves.
• Mud Pump system. The equipment is attached on the flat rack as figured out in the figure 7.
• Fuel Tank. The equipment is attached on the flat rack as figured out in the figure 4.
• Tower Lamp.
• Water Tank. The equipment is attached on the flat rack as figured out in the figure 5.
• Generator Set. The equipment is attached on the flat rack as figured out in the figure 6

• Surface Casing and Well Lining Materials for 1 production wells. These materials will be carried
by open rack as figured out in the figure 3.
• Submersible Pumps, Geophysical Well Logging, and other materials can be carried out by ISO
container.
The third batch will be the remaining materials to complete the whole drilling works:
