My First Day at School

For first-graders, the first day of school is an important event in life. That is why it
is especially valuable for children to remember it as an exciting, bright,
extraordinary day, because the first day of school always leaves unforgettable
impressions and high hopes in everyone's heart.

I remember my first day at school as if it were yesterday. Honestly, I can't believe

that so many years have passed since that day. I woke up early in the morning,
and I was already waiting for festive school clothes, lush white bows for hair,
beautiful, bright autumn flowers, and most importantly - a school backpack. As I
approached the school with my mom, dad, and grandma, it was the first time I
had seen such a large number of school children, smiling teachers, and parents.
To tell the truth, fear and curiosity overwhelmed me. I rather wanted to go to the
classroom, meet the teacher and the children.

But the most important thing is that I visited the school line for the first time, on
the holiday of the first bell. My grandmother and parents told me a lot about this.
The holiday was over. The bell called us to the first lesson. Now school is a part of
my life. Here I grew up and became independent. I am proud to have studied at
my school.
