The given line graph compares the proportion of goods which were exported from Australia to
Japan, China, India and the US over the twenty-two-year course from 1990 to 2012.
The initial impression from the graph that the rate of Australian exports to China and India was
on the increase with the export to China experiencing the biggest growth whereas the export to
Japan and US generally went down.
Looking at the information more detail, in the year of 1990, over 25% of products were
exported to Japan,; this number was much higher than that of other countries. However, for
the following 5 years, the number of goods which Japan imported decreased substantially to
20% and after that nearly maintained at the same level at above 15% until 2012. Between 1990
and 2000, the export to the US had an oscillation fluctuated at just over 10% and then
decreased to above 5%.
By contrast, China imported just under 5% of Australian products. For the next of Over the next
20 years, this figure soared to 25%, and China replace Japan as the leading export market of
Australia. Until 2012, with roughly 30% of Australian goods were exported to this country.
During this period, the figure for India stood steady plateaued at under 5% in the first 10 years
and saw a gradual increase to 5% in 2012.

On the one hand, the primary reason why some people think that new constructions should
follow the style of the old ones in local areas is that this helps preserve traditional and cultural
values, which can boost tourism in these areas. As an illustration, Hoi An is one of the most
famous ancient cities in Vietnam, which have become a popular tourist destination that attract
millions of tourists on an annual basis. Besides, people worry that the residental areas will not
maintain a standardization of houses design uniformity in the future because of the different
style styles of each property.
On the other hand, I would argue that people should have the freedom to make their own
decisions when it comes to building personal accommodations. The first reason is that
individuals are enabled to use their creativity and imagiantion to create unique and modernized
houses. which make the cities more diversify architectures. This looks more attractive and
appealing to citizens and tourists as well. The buildings in the centre of Ho Chi Minh City which
are designed in diversified styles (like European and Asian styles) appeal to residents coming
from many different countries, as an example. In addition, making their own decisions for their
houses’ style is able to depend on their possessio. Some individuals who have much money are
keen on erecting the villas. Nevertheless, others like a modern simple house. Another reason
that develop the architecture. The architects have a part in constructing the modern and
magnificent houses. Additionally, housing design is also partly determined by the degree of
financial capacilty a household may have. Mansions of the rich are obviously different from
common brick houses of the middle-class, and it would be a democratic catastrophe if
policymakers ordered all the houses to be demolished and rebuilt in uniformity with one
another.
In conclusion, although some people suppose that the design and construction of modern and
traditional buildings should be the same, I personally believe that the owners should be allowed
to decide the way their own house will be built.
