Is it a good or a bad thing for the children?

In the past, it was quite common that parents teach their children at home instead of sending them to
school. These days, the significance of learning at school has increased because it provides a higher quality
knowledge to children. To me, however, the idea of studying at school is more appealing, but it also has a
few advantages.
Firstly, homeschooled children do not have as many opportunities to interact with other children in
comparison to students who attend traditional schools. Children usually develop their social skills at school
by interacting with their teachers and other students so it might be hard for homeschooled teenagers to
develop basic communication skills. Moreover, lack of socialization may negatively affect them in the
future.
Additionally, many parents cannot provide enough knowledge of subjects. Despite the fact that
tutoring requires a high quality of knowledge, parents still choose to teach their children themselves. Lacking
in knowledge of required teaching methods might result poorly in child’s studying.
On the other hand, children who study at home are able to go at their own pace. For instance, if a child
does not understand something in a particular subject, he will not need to worry about it because studying
alone gives you an opportunity to take as much time as you need.
All in all, I believe that studying in a traditional classroom is better than being tutored at home.
Although homeschooling has an advantage of children being allowed to take their time and fully learn the
subject, it is more acceptable to send your children to school for their well-being.
