Assalamulaikum WBT, a very good morning and a very warm welcome to the International Webinar

2021 organised by Petaling Utama District Education Office.

On behalf of the organizer, I would like to thank everyone for joining us today. We truly appreciate your

support.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to the Director of Selangor State Education

Department, Tuan Haji Izmi bin Ismail for making his time to be with us today.

As we all know, the Covid-19 pandemic has affected many countries with a total death of more than 3

million. The devastation effect in economy, social life, international relation, are even harder than we

thought as many businesses suffer losses, global health crisis was created, and people are suffering

emotionally.

In terms of education process, the effects are also equal as the learning processes were abruptly

disturbed. Many countries had decided to close educational institutions to control the pandemic.
 Therefore, to understand the on how the Covid-19 pandemic really affected our education, let’s lend

your ears and joined our esteemed panellists as they discuss on the topic: The Impact of Covid-19

Pandemic from Education Perspective.
