1. Gown 2. Mask N95 respirator: To be used for prolonged contact *Visitors should wear an isolation mask 3. Face protection 4. Gloves Doffing sequence of PPE: Hand hygiene must be performed following each step of PPE removal 1. Remove gown and gloves, perform hand hygiene 2. Don clean pair of gloves and remove face protection: wipe down after use , place it in a paper bag, remove gloves, perform hand hygiene 3. Don clean pair of gloves, remove N95 respirator or mask, place N95 in a paper bag, perform hand hygiene Hand hygiene when exiting environment Use dedicated or single use disposable patient equipment. When this is not possible, disinfection of common use items must be performed

Reuse of N95 respirator:
N95 respirator and face protection will be stored in separate paper bags after use. Donning sequence for reuse: o Gown o Gloves prior to donning N95 respirator o Remove gloves and perform hand hygiene o Gloves prior to donning eye protection o Remove gloves and perform hand hygiene o Gloves Discard N95 respirator after the following scenarios: o Aerosol generating procedures o Becomes contaminated with blood, respiratory or nasal secretions, or other bodily fluids o Following close contact with any patient co-infected with an infectious disease requiring contact precautions o Damaged and/or straps are stretched out or torn o Becomes difficult to breathe through Once patient leaves the room, it will take 35 minutes for the air to clear. For anyone that enters the room during this time, mask/N95 must be worn
