Duties and responsibilities

-Carry out Hazard identification and implementing control measures.

- Monitor site activities to ensure unsafe act and unsafe conditions are being rectified.
-Promoting Safety awareness amongst site personnel.
-Documents daily site observation, near miss and incident reports.
-Performs accident/ incident investigations.
-Ensure HSE Plan is implemented fully onsite.
-Performing risk assessments of each area of company activity and making recommendation on
actions to be taken to reduce risks.
-Supervised safety specialized work procedures.
-Provide health and safety type training and maintain training records.
-Creating awareness of the hazards associated with the use of radioactive materials, carcinogens
toxic chemicals and other aspects of occupational health hazards and dissemination of this
information.
-Co-ordination of the company’s in-house HSE communication meetings and periodic HSE
plans, data, implementation and audits.

Completed measure shutdown in various refinery units:
• MSB- Static maintenance shutdown
• NCP- Heater maintenance shutdown
• PPU- Reactor Mechanical Seal replacement
• CDU/VDU- Exchanger/Column Maintenance
