Genting Plantation Berhad is headed by Gen. Dato’ Seri DiRaja Tan Sri Dr. Mohd
Zahidi Bin Haji Zainuddin, the chairperson. Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay as deputy chairman and
executive director. The finance manager is Mr Ben Tin Lim, the person in charge of the
company’s finance while his assistant finance manager is Miss Jane Chan. The marketing
and sales responsible by Mr Chua Wee Ling, Marketing Manager of Genting Plantation
Berhad.

Genting Plantation Berhad was incorporated as a private limited company on 29

September 1977. The company began operating in 1980 as a plantation branch of the
Genting Group, founded by the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, and in 1982, it was listed on
Bursa Malaysia, which later emerged as Bursa Kuala Lumpur shares. Since the
commencement of operations, Genting Plantations has successfully transformed itself from
a modest rubber-based enterprise and primarily into one of the leading oil palm plantation
groups in the region.

Genting Plantations' business activities include the cultivation of oil palm and the
harvesting and processing of fresh fruit bunches into crude palm oil and palm kernel. Its
subsidiaries also develop and invest in real estate, trade in rubber timber, provide oil palm
plant management services, and operate golf courses.
