Muhammad Hazwan
• Most of the employees not interested doing their job because lack of interest with their
duties while work. Such as clean the hotel room daily and that are not challenging job
for them. Basically, most of our employees are youth so they need an interesting job.
• Hotel should improve their training programme and improve remuneration to the
employees as these steps can increase retention rate of hotel employees. Besides,
the hotel also has to emphasize on ongoing training and education, employee
empowerment, open communication with management and appreciation for
accomplishment. (Prabhu,1996), (Hogan, 1992)

Muhammad Haziq

• Hotel staff experience imbalances in work and life. This is because the work assigned
is too much that forces them to have to neglect balance while working and in life.
• The hotel should practice flexibility in the employees’ schedules, enable the employees
to handle their family responsibilities constructively. Thus, this will reduce family stress
and conflict, and promoting the work life balance in both family and work domain.
(Fatahyah Yahya & Justina Yap Yen Ying, 2014)
• By posting schedules farther in advance, we can allow employees to plan better. By
adopting generous policies on shift-swapping, or allowing shared roles, we can
encourage employees to work together for a more balanced collective. By soliciting
feedback and encouraging our people to ask for support when they need it, we can
create a more caring and responsive work culture. (Dean Minett, 2019)
Muhammad Alif
