II. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
2. Why is it necessary to convert the transfer function model into state space
model?
Transfer function form and state-space form are two ways to represent a
system. A specific system is converted to either of the forms depending on
the need or situation. For one, a specific form is transformed to another
depending on the classes of variable of the system.
3. Compare the results in No. 2 and No. 4. What can you say about it?
The results in No. 2 and N0. 4 are identical since eigenvalues are special set
of scalars associated with a linear system of equations such as matrix
equations that are sometimes also known as characteristic roots,
characteristic values, proper values, or latent roots.
The eigenvalue of a matrix is the value that would yield 0 when it is multiplied
by an identity matrix then subtracted from the actual matrix. It is a square
matrix that represents a conversion on some vectpr space.
