VMC’s Series RSM mounts are fully bonded,

seismically restrained neoprene isolators.
Manufactured in the United States, these iso-
RSM 1 lators incorporate high quality neoprene
rubber bonded within a heavy-duty, ductile
iron housing. A minimum 1 g seismic
restraint capability is achieved with the com-
bination of a high strength cap screw and
lower snubbing washer. These isolators are
excellent for use under all types of HVAC
equipment and provide exceptional vibration
isolation and seismic restraint capabilities.

1. Testing and Analyses have been performed in accordance with OSHPD approved procedures. 2. To use OSHPD Rated Load Curves: A. Calculate vertical and horizontal
forces acting on mountings, including translations and overturning moments. B. The intersection of the horizontal load and vertical must fall within the OSHPD curve for the
specified part. 3. The OSHPD Rated Load Curves assume the following method of tie-down at each mount location: Two (2) 3/8” Dia. bolts (RSM-1) or four (4) 5/8” Dia. bolts
(RSM-3) per ASTM A307 or better. 4. The support structure (by others) is the responsibility of the Architect or Engineer of record and shall be designed to adequately support
the weights and forces shown.
